Are you guys excited to see The Vow? I’ve heard some of my friends say they’re hesitant because all “these type” of movies end the same way. Well here’s the gist with The Vow: A man and his wife get into a horrible car accident, she wakes up with amnesia and he has to make her fall in love with him again. Sounds like The Notebook, right? But it does have Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. That alone makes it worth a trip to the movies. And I hear the movie ends in a way that we wouldn’t quite expect. Since I haven’t seen it yet, I can only guess about how things turn out. Here are a few possible scenarios I’ve come up with.

1. The Bourne Vow. Rachel McAdams’ character doesn’t remember any of her past life, but she has badass fighting skills and multiple fake identities, a la The Bourne Identity. She sets off on an epic quest to take down the corrupt government agency that trained and then abandoned her. This leaves Channing Tatum confused but strangely aroused.

2. The Vow of Lies. Channing Tatum planned the car accident. He was cheating on Rachel McAdams with a younger woman, and they were planning on robbing a bank and running away together. He had to set up the car accident so she couldn’t turn him in. Think Law & Order on this one. McAdams miraculously regains her memory in the last five minutes of the movie and turns him in.

3. The Double Vow. Rachel McAdams has secretly been leading a double life. She actually has two families, complete with husbands, houses, kids, etc. In reality, she remembers everything, but she pretends to have amnesia to escape her messy situation. She runs away to the Caiman Islands. Eventually, Channing Tatum and the other husband figure everything out, but they don’t blame each other. Instead, they move in together and raise all the kids as one family.

4. The Star Vow. Rachel McAdams wakes up and thinks she is Ke$ha. Channing Tatum loves her so much that he sits patiently while she teases her hair, cakes on eyeliner, and buys huge amounts of glitter. She and her family go on tour. Her kids are a little embarrassed, but she builds up a fan base and becomes a millionaire. Happily ever after.

5. (500) Days of the Vow. Despite his best efforts – and his rock hard abs – Channing Tatum cannot make Rachel McAdams fall back in love with him. Eventually, they break up and Rachel starts dating someone else. But in the last five minutes of the movie, Channing meets a new girl and they live happily ever after. He and Rachel remains friends.

The internet is a wonderful place, and thanks to the tabling of SOPA and PIPA after a massive internet blackout, our favorite sites are safe. I can’t imagine what I’d do without sites like this or LOLcats or Feminist Ryan Gosling. Where would I waste my time? Where would I get a good laugh when I’m feeling down? How will I find funny things to post on my friends’ walls? Well, we don’t have to worry about that right now because these sites are still up and being awesome. Where do you fantasize about having the hottest sex of your life? Beach? Elevator? On the desk after work? Hot tub? In the van during the stakeout while Casey’s undercover and…well okay that’s more of a fantasy in which the who is more important than the where (and if you don’t know who I’m referring to, pick up last month’s Maxim). We’ve also been brainwashed with by intricate film choreographed sex in a plethora of sexy locales to think that fiction is a reflection of fact. And then there’s reality. Which can be downright cruel, and itchy. Here’re 11 places you might want to make whoopee but would end up needing a cushion after:

1. Shower
How big is yours? What are the odds of falling and doing permanent injury to yourself? Slippery when wet. Showers, pools, under waterfalls, no matter the aquatic spot you still need something OTHER than water to keep enough moisture down there. “I’m not even gonna talk about down there.” And pruning doesn’t improve a pounding experience. By the by, make sure you’re shower curtains are strong enough to hold onto. Craftsmanship is more important than cost-effective.

2. Hayloft
A roll in a hay will leave heat rashes that last for more than a day. “It’s the itchy and scratchy showwwwwwwww!”

3. Backseat
Unless you’re in high school then get a f*cking room. Unless you or your partner’s freaking Gumby then make sure you stretch. The only backseat that’d be easy on your joints would be in the Mystery Inc. van. Shaggy and Scooby kept a waterbed.

4. Parents’ Bed
It’s where you parents have sex. Think about it — STOP! Don’t think about it. Too much therapy involved.

5. Beach
You’ll be washing sand out of places you didn’t know you had places from here to eternity. Think about this equation also: sand + friction = PAIN.

6. Middle of a Field
Bugs. Dirt. Sharp grass blades. Hidden pebbles. Bring a blanket, au natural isn’t worth the surprise bruises and cuts.

7. Restaurant/Club Bathroom
There’s always that scene where one person can’t stand waiting a second longer and pulls his/her lover into a stall…What the Hell was I thinking putting this on here? Bathrooms aren’t sexy. They’re skanky. Odors. Eww…

8. The Wall
She pushes him up against the wall and then rips off his shirt. He spins her around and lifts up her skirt and then 30 seconds later they’ve pulled their quads, hamstrings, everythings. Plus, standing sex only works depending on height differences and/or upper body strength. All the blood goes rushing to his other muscle groups. The sex is like a game of Red Light, Green Light.

9. Marble Countertop
COLD! Hard…Sharp edges. Hope you’ve gotten your flu shot and your insurance is paid up.

10. Elevator
Notice they never actually show you the sex in the elevator. Usually the doors close with 2 people perfectly composed. Then, they open and hot sex has been had. You know why they skip the middle? You don’t want to find out.

11. Stairs
Just hold out until you reach the landing at least. How many herniated disks, carpet burns, or deep bruises do you want to have an hour later?

Adventurous sex is fantastic! Exotic locales can be extremely stimulating. But sometimes the fantasy needs to remain in the mind’s eye rather than on a chiropractor’s table. PARTY FOUL!

Don’t act like you haven’t heard it before.  According to Urban Dictionary, it’s “something socially unacceptable done in a social gathering.” For those of us who have been in the presence of a party foul or may have accidentally committed one ourselves, we know that they’re much more than that.

Thanks to digital cameras, your unfortunate lack of judgment will probably be plastered all over the Internet before you even have the chance to pull your head out of the toilet the next morning.  But no matter how bad things get for you, just thank your lucky stars that you’ve never committed any of these…

You haven’t, right?

Tossing Your Cookies. This is quite possibly the most commonly seen party foul. If you really have to throw up, try making it to the bathroom.  When your pre-drinking meal ends up on a fellow partier or in a potted plant— major party foul.

Bed Hog. “Getting jiggy with it” is not a party foul itself, but when you’re doing whatever you do in someone else’s bed— not so cool. Especially if you don’t know whose bed it is. Extra bonus points if you wake up next to the biggest creep at the party. He may have looked like Rupert Grint last night, but this morning your Harry Potter hottie looks a lot like a steroid-induced Carrot Top. Yummy.

Dancing Queen. The next time you get the urge to clear the dance floor and whip your hair back and forth, don’t.  Only one person on the planet can actually look cute flinging their head around like a crazy person and that’s Miss Willow Smith herself. Anyone else who feels like attempting this dance move should resort to doing so in the privacy of their own home…doors locked, curtains closed.

The Hot Mess. You might have your way with the fellas sober, but if you’ve been pounding down the spiked punch all night you may want to back off a little. When you start hitting on every guy at the party with fake eyelashes dangling off your face and your breath reeking of the soggy chips you just found on the floor, it’s time to call it quits for the night.

American Idol. So, you think your voice is God’s gift to the world? Well once your favorite song comes on and you start belting out the lyrics to “The Climb” at top of your lungs, you’ll have people running for the door. Stay off the furniture, it’s not a stage. And when your audience is throwing beer cans at you, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Somebody’s Trippin’. Blame it on the a-a-alcohol all you want, but no one is going to care why you just belly-flopped into the middle of the floor. Whatever the reason, it was hilarious and certainly party foul-worthy. And possibly a candidate for America’s Funniest Home Videos.

Duel it Out. There’s nothing like watching fights get broken out over the most ridiculous things. Girls pull each other’s hair, guys punch walls— it’s lots of fun. Usually the fights conclude with the girls “hugging it out” and apologizing for hitting on each other’s boyfriends and the guys making up for lost drinking time by doing multiple keg stands.

In the end, a party isn’t a party without a few drunken messes stumbling around, breaking things and wondering why they’re never invited back again.  No one wants to be “that girl,” but for the sake of everyone’s entertainment, we might as well get those referee’s whistles blowin’.
