Spring is officially here (since Friday!!) and I’m super excited. What’s not to love about spring? First of all, there’s pretty flowers and cute baby animals everywhere, obviously. And warmer weather means finally being able to shed those winter coats, scarves, and gloves in favor of cute spring dresses and sandals!
Oh, it also happens to mean the end of the semester is quickly approaching! Woohoo!
To celebrate how much we love spring, CollegeCandy is teaming up with the Vivi Dot Store to give one CollegeCandy reader a whole slew of her super cute, super original jewelry and accessories to spice up that hot new spring wardrobe of yours.
Don’t know Vivi Dot? Well, let me introduce you! Read More »

Listen up all you sex craved, music loving men and women out there! Eagles of Death Metal dropped their new album, Heart On today, and are going on tour. This calls for a celebration, one that involves free sex toys and free music!
Like some of us here at CollegeCandy, you may be lacking a significant other and have the heavy burden of taking care of your needs solo, or you could just be having boring sex with the same person and need a little spice in your life. Don’t worry, we feel your pain and want to help get you off.
CollegeCandy is awarding one lucky winner the new Eagles of Death Metal CD and the Babeland sex toy package of their dreams (which happens to include everything you need to get down and dirty to some great jams). Lucky for you, there is no purchase necessary and you won’t be competing with us at CollegeCandy, because we can’t enter.

I’m sure you’ve seen the previews for the new movie “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” which comes out tonight. It’s based on a great teen fiction book by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. The book chronicles the adventures of two teenagers, Nick and Norah, who meet by chance in a club and spend a crazy night together in New York City. All the events of the evening revolve around music, hence the title. Duh.
Since music is what links Nick and Norah, so much so that she even refers to him as her “musical soulmate,” the film has to have a wicked soundtrack. Read More »

Is there anyone funnier than Mike Myers? I mean, seriously – Austin Freaking Powers? This guy is a genius and, let’s be honest, we have all gone far too long without him in our lives. But the wait is almost over, people. Love Guru, Mike Myers’ new movie (and first original character since Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery) will be hitting theaters this Friday.
The movie has a ridiculous cast, including Jessica Alba, Justin Timberlake and Mini Me!, and is sure to be an instant hit. We have been playing on the site/watching the trailer all week at the CC office and we can’t get enough. There is something about Mike Myers with an Indian accent that is just too good to be true.
Because we are so completely excited for Friday night (and may or may not have already purchased tickets…don’t tell), we thought we would kick off the celebration early and award one lucky CollegeCandy reader with a Love Guru prize pack.
It includes:
- The Love Guru soundtrack (which you can listen to here. Heeeelarious)
- A Love Guru t-shirt
- A Love Guru poster autographed by Mike Myers
This movie is guaranteed to be a mega-hit and how awesome would you look with that poster hanging over your bed? (Bonus: that boy you bring with you would l-o-v-e it.)
It is easy to enter and easy to win. Simply enter your favorite Mike Myers quote/dialogue in the comments section below and we – self-proclaimed Mike Myers experts – will choose our favorite as the winner! Yes, your fate is in our hands. Mwa hahahaah (that is our evil laugh).
You have until Friday at noon to get your entries in before we start picking and choosing, so get on it. The winner will be chosen next week. Unfortunately for us, we can’t win. Which is too bad; Lauren has been compiling her quotes all day. She really wants that poster.

Winner: Briana Palma from Syracuse University!
She writes to us:
I am so looking forward to my first summer in New York City, and now for another reason.
Thanks, CollegeCandy for providing me with this fabulous Juicy Couture handbag to join me in my adventures this summer. This bag will be my companion each day as I head to work as an intern in the fashion department of a top magazine. I’ve been shopping for work clothes for months, but seriously lacking some great accessories to go with them; I am a college student after all. But thanks to CollegeCandy, not only will I be a fashion intern, but I will definitely look the part. Now I can happily retire all of my ratty $20 handbags. I will be sure to wear this amazing bag very well, all over NYC of course!
