If you happen to be a celebrity (I mean, it’s a possibility), you should probably watch your back. Why? Because on March 29th, Punk’d is back on MTV. Ashton Kutcher is still the executive producer of the show, but he has handed over the hosting responsibilities to young celebrities like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Kellan Lutz. And there’s a long list of celebs who will be made into fools on national TV – Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Lauren Conrad, Snooki, and more.

Is Punk’d still going to be funny? Have they run out of tricks? Only time will tell. But to celebrate the return of the prank show, we’ve rounded up the 12 best Punk’ds of all time. Check it out.

Sometimes when people tell me that I should unplug my chargers when I’m not using them, or that I should not run my A/C as much as I do (I live in Florida!), I just brush it off. I understand and care about global warming and climate change, but it seems like such a big thing that nothing I do will help. BUT GUESS WHAT??? Climate change could ruin Starbucks! I’m going to start unplugging everything in my apartment because I don’t know what I’ll do if I can’t get my Java Chip Frappuccino in 20 years.

While we all know that college students rely on Starbucks to get them through all-nighters and early science labs, celebrities reply on Starbucks even more. I can’t go a day without seeing a paparazzi picture of some celebrity sipping through a green straw. What are these celebs going to do if climate change kills Starbucks? Maybe then their maids will have to make them coffee. GASP!

Singing is a sensitive topic, and very few of us can really do it. Once, my best friends attempted to ban me from singing in the car… rude.

The issue is that some people use their fame to jumpstart a singing career that should never have even popped into their pretty little heads. Not everyone can make the seamless transition from acting to singing sensation like Jennifer Lopez (props girl!). Take a gander at these lovely ladies who sang, but really shouldn’t have. At least their career flops have resulted in hilarious music videos with some pretty terrible dancing. Bless their hearts.

Attention, ladies. I’ve got big news.

Okay. So I guess the news wasn’t really that big of a deal after all. I mean, what celebrity doesn’t have a fragrance these days? No, really, what celebrity doesn’t? Reese Witherspoon is actually the 465th celebrity to ever do this. That’s a lot of celebrities and definitely a lot of scents, which has gotten me thinking: How exactly do they create these scents? What are the ingredients? They must be relevant to the celebs themselves, right? You know, to set them apart. Well, if that’s the case I’ve got a few ideas on what must be in each of them.

What would be in your signature scent?

That’s all well and good, but what about Disney? You know, that company that sent her (and many starlets) on her downward spiral? What are they saying?

Nothing. Obvi.

But maybe it’s time. And I’m not talking about some boring press release or a statement from the top. Disney should do what they do best and turn their curse into TV gold. I can see it in my DVR scheduled recordings now:

Rehab: Not Another Song and Dance

The main character, a psychic girl who moonlights as an AA counselor, played by Demi Lovato, takes the show on twists and turns that will keep the audience guessing her next move. Will she smoke Salvia with her best friend? Is she going to fall off the wagon after 9 months? Can she help other Disney stars resist the urges and temptations that come with having to act like a 14-year-old and sing cheesy songs on TV?

But don’t worry, because Raven Simone, who plays the center’s sassy yet endearing cleaning lady, is always there to help out young Demi in her battles against right and wrong. And that’s not even close to where the story ends! Enter Nick Jonas, a teen who has battled his addiction with alcohol since his mother, played by Britney Spears, pushed him into his first Pampers commercial. Of course, momma is also a little too familiar with the Rehab center, so the two must work with Demi’s character to beat their diseases….while also finding themselves in the midst of shenanigans and hijinks that run rampant in Disney shows/movies/specials.

But Lovato isn’t the only one those two turn to in their time of need. Momma Spears has other problems, such as being unable to keep a steady job or boyfriend, and often visits the wise janitor at the clinic, played by Justin Timberlake, on matters concerning the heart. Could Justin sweep (literally!!) Britney off her feet?

And then we have the leading doctor, played by Hilary Duff, a young professional who battles demons of her own… in the form of a cartoon mouse whose voice is reminiscent to Tony Soprano. Will Duff do the right thing and break up with boyfriend Joe Jonas, a firefighter with a heart of gold, but a problem with keeping it in his pants? Will she be able to maintain her focus at work when her whole world crumbles around her at home? Will she hit a bong herself?

Only time will tell.

Other doctors on the clinic’s staff include twins Tia and Tamera Mowry, who enjoy playing tricks on the patients by changing places and giving them two different diagnoses, and Corbin Bleu, a new doctor to the clinic who is trying to find his way after moving from a small town in Iowa to LA. Bleu has dreams of becoming a backup dancer for J.Lo but doesn’t know how to tell his parents he is not cut out for the medical world.

The show, which is riddled with exciting songs and guest stars turned down by the Glee execs, will touch on serious issues (from Salvia to stealing jewelry to fuel a coke binge) in order to educate the channel’s young viewers about the dangers of drug addiction. You know, instead of just sweeping it under the rug yet again and hoping for the best with the new crop of stars comin’ through the Disney ranks.

I don’t know about you, but I’m excited at the prospect. At last! Something else to watch besides ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ on a Friday night!

“Elixir” is a teen fiction and is the story of Clea Raymond, a successful teen photo-journalist (yes, unlikely) and daughter of a famous senator. Her surgeon father has mysteriously gone missing in Brazil on a humanitarian mission and assumed to be dead and Clea is still coping with the loss. The book begins when she is in Paris with her best friend, Rayna. At the end of their trip, there is a fire in a building where Rayna is and Clea spots a strange man lurking around the scene. Rayna is unharmed in the fire and Clea is so distracted by her that she forgets about the man. However, when they return home, Clea takes a look at her pictures and notices that in each one, the strange man from the fire appears. Clea is shocked and finally shares this secret with her friend/bodyguard, Ben. But to Clea’s surprise, Ben isn’t shocked. It turns out that this mystery man has been showing up in photos long before this most recent trip: he’s been in photos of Clea since she was born. And Clea’s father has been trying to figure this out ever since. His search led him to the mythical Elixir of Life and it may be the missing link in his disappearance. This new discovery leads Clea and Ben on a journey to Brazil, to hopefully solve the mystery of his disappearance and also figure out who this man is and how he is linked to Clea.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Sure, paranormal teen fiction is having a bit of a moment right now thanks to Twilight, but I still liked the story and found it to be fairly unique. The character of Clea reminded me a lot of Hilary Duff: driven, determined, employed from a young age, etc. But she was well-developed and didn’t do anything shocking or out of character. And I also loved the chemistry between Ben and Clea. Sure, predictable, but he was a super cute, caring boy and made me go “Aww” more than once.

And the story. I almost hate to admit it, but I actually enjoyed this one. I really didn’t solve the mystery and it threw you for a couple unexpected loops! Sure, she did have a ghostwriter helping her along, but she is a busy girl and I tried to not let that take away from the book at all. This isn’t a profound work of literature, but it was totally entertaining and would be perfect as a travel book. You know, one you bring on the plane and read on subway rides or anytime you have a few spare minutes. It’s not the longest book either, so you could probably finish it off in a couple of days or a week.

All in all, I think you could say I’m impressed with Hilary Duff’s first foray into literature. “Elixir” has the recipe for a great teen fiction book, but is easily enjoyed by anyone. It’s an easy read and keeps you on your toes until the end!

Six years later, Lindsay is…Lindsay, while Hilary still has clothing lines, a book deal, a stable relationship (who put a ring on it), and no one would ever think of including her in their celebrity death pool. As Hollywood stirs the pot of gossip-shaped noodles, I’m eating spoonful after spoonful. Hollywood always gives us the generous opportunity to lift all of our own emotional flounders and replace them with the train-wrecks and idiots overpopulating the City of Angels.  This week, however, was rather chill for (most) celebs.  Reese Witherspoon went shopping wearing floral and drank iced tea with her daughter, Sienna and Jude vacationed in Spain, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted shopping in a floppy hat and Blake Lively applied lip gloss in public (!).

Awww, the bittersweet summer in Hollyweird slowly coming to a blissful end.

Don’t worry though. A lull in August isn’t completely a bust.  Here is what’s goin down in celeb town (sorry, it was too tempting).

Prop 8 Is Overturned in California and Celebs Tweet Their Phrase! Celebrity Twitter accounts exploded when Prop 8 was overturned in California.  A few of my personal favorites of course involved Lady Gaga talking about bubbles and dreams. @LadyGaga: At the moments notice of PROP 8 DEATH I instantly began to write music. BUBBLE DREAMS FOREVER! FULL EQUALITY! THIS IS JUST THE BEGININNG!

Leo Granted Restraining Order. Against crazy-town Aretha Wilson who attacked the Titanic heartthrob with a beer bottle in 2005.  Attacked with a beer bottle? Was it one of those new plastic Michelob Lights? Did it bounce right off his flawless face? I kid Leo, I kid. The bottle was broken and he needed stitches for the incident!  And Wilson’s bail has been raised from $60,000 to $150,000 because of concern about her willingness to get back to court.  I’m just wondering what he could have done to that 40-year-old women to receive wrath like that? I mean come on, he gave us Jack Dawson. Where’s the abuse-motive in that, Miss Wilson??

Hilary Duffster Pushes Wedding With Slice-of-Hockey-Heaven Mike Comrie to Next Week! Like woah, the wedding bells in Duff’s ears must be giving her a migraine because a new report says they will be prancing down the aisle August 14th (as in next week).  They also recently purchased their freak-nest right next door to homegirls Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani. Wait, is Duff hearing wedding bells or babies crying?

Bristol Announces She Got Played by Levi and They Break It Off. Again. A week after an engagement announcement. Relationship expert announced the couple was “very immature.” Hey, I’m a relationship expert too and I say, “Levi is a fame whore!”

Rosie O’ Donnell Get’s Her Own Show on Oprah TV. Oprah claims it will be “playful and energetic.”  No name of the show or debut date has been announced yet.  But Rosie says the show will be a “single topic, hour long show about life, love and laughter.” Sweet, Rosie O’ LiveLoveLaugh. Very Sweet.

Rihanna Poses With Young Fans Dressed As Clowns. Rihanna left her hotel in Toronto, Canada to pose with fans dressed up as clowns. This is weird, Rihanna, and I don’t get it, but kudos to you for not being afraid!  In other news, watch her new video featuring a red wig, Eminem and Megan Fox. That’s a lot.

Emma Watson Chops Off All Her Tresses; Calls It Liberating. Although I feel like chopping off my hair would end up like one of those Sour Patch Kid commercials, Watson had a different outlook.  She claims chopping her hair off was the most liberating thing she’d ever done.  And kudos for that, Emma Watson. (Speaking of which, Kudos are so good. I’m totally jonesing for one now.)  Lindsay Lohan thinks wearing her leggings line in jail is liberating, so keep up the good work on being a normal teenager.

Justin Bieber Visits Band Camp. Hold on to your kicks, kids. Justin Timberlake didn’t visit my art camp when I was in middle school, dag nabbit! JBeebs, however, has other plans and visited the Seminole High School in Florida as part of the Best Buy and Grammy Foundation for music programs. Cute and positively community driven. Awesome, Beebs!
