Happy Hanukkah, people!

In honor of the eight days of Hanukkah, we decided to do a tribute to our 8 favorite Hanukkah celebrators (also known as Jews). But then we decided that 8 just wasn’t enough; there are too many good ones! So, we upped it to eight Jews for each of the eight days.

Yes, it’s a lot of Jewish, but let’s be real – Hanukkah gets totally ignored this time of year, so we thought it would be nice to give a little shout-out to the people not dreaming of a white Christmas. [Celebrities get paid to look good and serve as a style guide to all us common folk, and part of looking good is flaunting their totally awesome fashion sense. Each week, I will be highlighting my Style Idol of the week: a celebrity who consistently shows keen fashion sense and whose closet I would raid in a heartbeat.

Of course, no celebs are immune to the occasional “what the hell were they thinking?” moment, but for the most part, these celebs look foxy and fabulous and inspire us all to do the same.]

Reese Witherspoon is known for her Girl Next Door appeal and her fresh-faced good looks. She’s also known for a cool, casual style that gives her a relaxed feel, while still looking totally fantastic. We are always seeing her running around L.A. with her kids (and her delicious beau, Jake Gyllenhall) in jeans and flowy tops, but no matter how busy-mom she is, she still always looks adorable.

The magic of Reese is that even though her style is so laid-back, when she hits the red carpet – Presto! – she turns into a gorgeous, glamorous goddess. She is known for picking classically elegant and vintage-inspired gowns and venturing into less common color palettes. And it all works; Reese is consistently placed on the best dressed list after awards shows.
