There are 4 lines of lyrics missing, and fans can actually send in their own lyrics! After four rounds of voting, the lyrics with the most votes will be incorporated into the final track that Jason will perform on the season finale of American Idol on FOX on May 22!

Before the lyrical winner is selected, Derulo will be hosting a live chat with select fans to hang out and discuss the contest! Have something you’re dying to ask Jason? Here’s your chance! By now everyone with a radio knows about Jason Derulo. Not only do those DJs play his songs more often than Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.” (Read: Every. Other. Minute.), but homeboy really loves to sing his own name. Like, a lot.

But this is one artist whose songs I actually want to hear every ten minutes. And “Whatcha Say” and “In My Head” are just the start.
