There has been a bit of discussion recently among our writers over whether or not our favorite celebrity dudes are circumcised or uncircumcised. Now, before you ignore the larger issue here and ask why the hell they’d talk about such a bizarre thing — just accept that they tend to let our minds wander and conversations drift from time to time.

I cannot express how excited I am for the new Muppet movie coming out on November 23rd. What’s even more exciting is that Jason Segel co-wrote it and is starring along side our favorite furry characters. Along with the regular trailers, The Muppets have taken it upon themselves to do parody movie trailers based on popular films as well. They’re hilarious. Muppet madness has taken over Hollywood, and I can’t wait for it to take over my hometown over Thanksgiving break. You better believe I’ll see it more than once. It’s going to be awesome.

If you’re not familiar with the Muppets well, shame on you. It’s classic! However, this time they’re reuniting to save their old theater. The old gang is back together along side Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, and Rashida Jones. You should definitely hit this one up as soon as it comes out. Excited for the weekend? We are. We’re more excited than we were for last weekend, and that one was three days!

Why, you ask? Maybe because CollegeCandy is going to the MTV Movie Awards!!

Yes, it’s true. CollegeCandy will be on the red carpet as our favorite stars (Ben Stiller? Andy Samburg? JASON SEGAL?!) shuffle on in to the coolest award show of the year. We’ll get a first hand look at what everyone is wearing, chat it up with the hottest people in Hollywood, and, if all goes well, take one of Judd Apatow’s funny boys home for ourselves.

And if it doesn’t go well, at least we know Paris Hilton will talk to us.

How’s that free ice cream treating you? What, you didn’t know it was Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s? Oh, I’m sure you knew about Iced Coffee Day at Dunkin Donuts then? No? Well, you need to get on that because today just might be the best day ever!

The only thing that would make today any better would be if today was Friday, and the last day of classes, and maybe if I had a hot date tonight. Okay, so today could be better, but this ice cream and coffee certainly aren’t hurting my mood. Honestly, anytime someone wants to give me free or discounted stuff I’m going to be incredibly happy.

In fact, my perfect day would revolve around freebies.  My perfect day would start with my Dunkin Donuts coffee and a free makeover at Sephora, where  they would send me away with a bag of free makeup and spa goodies. Then I’d swing over to Ihop for some free pancakes, served to me by the hottest waiter Ihop has to offer. You know what? Let’s just say Zac Efron will serve me my short stack. Ah Twitter.

You know something’s a hit when verbs are being made out of it. Or when Oprah is doing it on live TV. Or when Anderson Cooper is begging people to follow CNN in order to beat Ashton Kutcher in the race to 1 MILLION followers (typed in Dr. Evil speak, obvi).

Much like Facebook took on its own verbiage (“I Facebooked him,” or, after every drunken photo op at the bar, you yell “tag it!”), Twitter is the newest pop culture obsession amongst celebs and mere mortals alike. With it came not only a new set of Internet jargon (“He Tweeted you WHAT?”), but yet another networking site for you to update and check incessantly in class…

Frankly, it all seems exhausting, but never one to be left out I joined the bandwagon and I’m Twittering away! (Follow me @mysocalled20s and our CollegeCandy page @collegecandy!)

It’s addicting. It’s entertaining. It’s even more proof – not like we really need it – that our generation is is all about narcissism and shameless self promotion.

And I love every second of it. (Almost as much as I love myself/looking at myself in the mirror.)

Apparently so do our favorite celebs. Maybe it’s because it’s a way to connect with fans without being shrieked at on the street. Maybe it’s because they can set the record straight without going through their b*itchy publicist who always responds with a “no comment.” But whatever the case, there is a plethora of celebs out there tweeting.

Some are hysterical, some are sharing what they eat, and some are just as pathetic on their Twitters as they seem to be in real life.

I Love You, Man was funny (duh).  It made me laugh till I peed a little and also reaffirmed my love for Jason Segel. Any man who can make fun of man Uggs but still pull them off gets bumped up on my list. For real. (P.S. Jason, I’m a NJG (Nice Jewish Girl); call me. My mom makes a mean matzo ball soup. True story.)

But anyways, I digress. More than Paul Rudd’s perfect delivery of awkwardness, my major crush on Jason Segel, and the screenplay stealing words right out own personal daily vernacular (hellllllo, I’ve been saying Totes Magotes since I came out of the womb… not that I am proud of it), there was actually something thought provoking about this movie (and, no, I’m not talking about the genius that was the random made up words… Jobin?
