If there’s one thing I know for sure it’s that when it rains it pours. And that couldn’t be more true than with Hollywood gossip. Yes, the drama drought is over and now we’re swimming in scandal. Is it all true? Who knows? But if the media’s printing it, we’ll trust it. I mean, they don’t lie, right?

1. Did Ashton Kutcher cheat on Demi Moore? We’re not sure, but that’s what the tabloids are saying. While there have been rumors about this before, now there’s texts involved. According to reports, Ashton was involved with a 21-year-old woman named Brittney Jones (why are they always named Brittney?) and even had sex in his house when Demi wasn’t there. His lawyer already spoke out saying that it’s a lie. However, Brittney claims to have texts messages that she saved despite Ashton asking her to delete them. I’m a little skeptical – home girl’s friends say she’s been creepin’ on Ashton for a while – so we’ll see how this one pans out.

2. In another cheating scandal, Posh and Becks are having tabloid trouble over a hooker. The rumor mill is saying that David Beckham hired former prostitute Irma Nici at $10,000 a night. (Editor’s Note: Damn! Time for a career change.) She says they had unprotected sex and a threesome in 2007. Posh and Becks are saying it’s completely false and are planning on taking InTouch Weekly to court. God, please don’t let this be true. I’d like to retain some sort of faith in relationships.

3. Some happy couple news: Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are tying the knot! But not quite yet. Nicole had her bachelorette party last weekend, but the two aren’t getting hitched until December because of their busy schedules! Nicole turned 29 this week and wanted to have her bachelorette party close to her birthday. That sounds like a good plan to me! No other details about wedding plans have been released yet.

4. Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy may be getting back together! They split in April due to Jim’s depression, but apparently they’ve been meeting secretly for the past month. Sources say that Jenny realizes how much she misses Jim. Jenny’s daughter, Jane, has been asking Jenny to take him back. Hopefully they do reconcile, they were presh!

5. More trouble for Lindsay Lohan. After failing  two of her drug tests, LiLo was served with an arrest warrant today. Although Lindsay admitted that she made a mistake and needs help, she’s is still in legal trouble for violating her probation. And now she’s facing up to 30 days in the slammer. Hopefully she’ll spend a full sentence instead of 12 days like last time.

1. Portia de Rossi is now officially Portia Lee James DeGeneres! Ellen and Portia got married in 2008 and she’s finally decided to take on her wife’s last name. Congrats!

2. Kristen Bell and Matthew Morrison dated in college! You heard me. Kristen and “Matty,” as she called him, briefly dated back in the day. Not sure what she was thinking letting him go. Despite his bad rapping on Glee, he’s most definitely a keeper.

3. Michael Buble disguised himself as Justin Bieber! Why? Oh just for his new music video, Hollywood. Ha!

4. Justin Timberlake may be getting an Oscar nomination! His role in The Social Network has already be getting Oscar buzz. Do I smell an EGOT in his future?

Nothing puts me into a more jolly mood than these holiday classics (in no particular order)…

1) It’s a Wonderful Life: You’d have to be a total Scrooge not to tear up at this movie about a suicidal man who is reminded of how beautiful his life is (played by the always amazing Jimmy Stewart). It will forever stand as one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time.

2) Home Alone: This movie made Macaulay Culkin the biggest child star on the planet and had audiences around the world roaring as he gave two burglars a Christmas butt whoopin’.

3) Miracle on 34th Street: This classic story about a man claiming to be Kris Kringle being put on trial for legal insanity will make anyone a believer in Old Saint Nick.

4) Love Actually: Not only does this British flick have a fantastic cast (Colin Firth, Keira Knightly, Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson), but it’s a truly lovey dovey romantic comedy that is guaranteed to make ya feel extra cozy.

5) A Christmas Story: This hilarious 80′s movie about a truly American Christmas has stemmed so many famous lines and scenes, people all over the world recognize them: “You’ll shoot your eye out!” (Get’s me every time!) You can even buy that (in)famous sexy leg lamp.

6) How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original cartoon): While the live action re-make with Jim Carrey was entertaining, nothing reminds me that it’s Christmas time like watching the 1966 animated version of the Dr. Seuss book. (Yup, I just watched it on Monday).

7) A Charlie Brown Christmas: This animated special about the beloved Peanuts and their sad little Christmas tree has been synonymous with the holiday for four decades.

8) National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation: Clark Griswold is up to his usual antics in this movie. You can’t help but giggle at his crazy Christmas decorations and, of course, the Christmas tree/squirrel scene.

9) The Nightmare Before Christmas: Shrunken heads, skeletons, ghosts and ghouls; not exactly what you associate with Christmas, but this Tim Burton film has become a surprise Christmas classic.

10) Elf: Will Ferrell is one of the most hilarious comedians of our time and his role as Buddy the Elf, a human who was raised as an elf in the North Pole and goes to New York City to find his birth father as an adult, is one of his greatest.

11) Scrooged: This off-beat version of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” is hilarious, and Bill Murray plays the role of a grinchy TV exec perfectly.

12) White Christmas: Bing Crosby is famous for the tune, and the movie of the same name brings just as much joy.

13) Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman: I decided to place these two kiddie classics together because they seem to go hand-in-hand. There’s a reason Rudolph is the longest running TV Christmas special of all time (it originally aired in 1964); this claymation 30 minute special about “the most famous reindeer of all” with the glowing red nose pleases kids and grown-ups alike. Frosty came out in 1969 and is an animated classic about a snowman who comes to life with a magic hat that also has a highly recognizable theme song (thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump, look at that Frosty go!). God, I love ‘em both.

14) A Chipmunk Christmas: As a kid, I looked forward to watching this Christmas special every year. Something about those adorable chipmunks with their squeaky voices gets me every time. And how can you not love “The Chipmunk Song” (“Christmas Christmas time is here, time for joy and time for cheer…”)?

15) Die Hard: If you’re looking for a great Christmas movie your man won’t moan about, look no further than Die Hard an action/comedy/Christmas movie all in one. Believe it.

What is your favorite holiday flick?

It’s about time funny girls are seen as the sex icons we, I mean, they are!

Take for example, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Sarah Silverman. Those are three very funny and very sexy ladies. I mean, Sarah Silverman graced the cover of Maxim last year. Mind you, it was a little weird with the whole gorilla suit thing, but she still looked sexy. And Maxim also declared Tina Fey as one of the 5 women they aren’t supposed to want…but they do anyway. And I don’t blame them!

Think about it! Women have been attracted to funny guys for-e-ver. People like Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey were never conventionally sexy, but women were falling at their feet. Why? Because they were funny. It is about time men caught on and realized that sexy can mean more than big boobs and long, blonde hair, and that a funny woman can be the sexiest thing of all.

So, rock on, funny ladies, rock on! The world is your oyster.

There have been 5 Batman films since 1989, with a 6th one coming out this weekend. Not all of them have been critically acclaimed, but certainly all of them have tried to manufacture true hotness in a batsuit. Because we enjoy hotness even more than we enjoy things blowing up and campy dialogue, we here at CC have listed the Batman movies in order of their attractiveness factor. That’s right. Hot. Bod. Action.

5) Batman and Robin (1997)

Why it’s HOT: George Clooney, Alicia Silverstone, Uma Thurman, requisite skin-tight body suits

Why it’s NOT: Ahnold Schwarzengovener, Chris O’Donnell, the whole idea of “batboy” (please. Never seen anything gayer), the whole idea of “batgirl” (double please. She sucked), and this plot summary from IMDB.com: “Batman & Robin try to keep their relationship together even as they must stop Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy from freezing Gotham City” (sounds like a chick flick where people have idiot names).

4) Batman (1989)

Why it’s Hot: Jack Nicholson being crazy, Michael Keaton’s expressive eyebrows, pre-Ihatemyhusband Kim Basinger

Why it’s Not: Everything about Michael Keaton besides his eyebrows, boring plot, and how come it’s never sunny in Gotham?

3) Batman Returns (1992)

Why it’s Hot: Michelle Pfeiffer (and her catsuit), Michael Keaton’s eyebrows (now with more expression!) Christopher Walken, a plot that is interesting, Danny DeVito’s penguin laugh

Why it’s Not: Danny DeVito’s small penguin body, everything else about Michael Keaton (on what planet is this man attractive?), stupid obvious title

2) Batman Forever (1995)

Why it’s Hot: pre-fatness Val Kilmer in spandex, Nicole Kidman, hilariously ADDified Jim Carrey, Drew Barrymore, Tommy Lee Jones (when isn’t he fabulous?), lots of stuff exploding into fiery plumes

Why it’s Not: Chris O’Donnell (just.go.away), the wicked long plot, Jim Carrey in a green bodysuit, a title that makes no sense

1) Batman Begins (2005)

Why it’s Hot: Christian Bale in spandex, Christian Bale doing various shirtless things including push-ups, Michael Caine, Liam Neelson, a really good plot, Christian Bale smiling, Christian Bale’s accent…

Why it’s Not: Katie Holmes (all downhill since Dawson’s Creek, sweetheart), the fact that Christian Bale is not shirtless more often

1. Ryan Reynolds. Now, besides the fact that he is off the market (engaged to Scarlet Jo!), this man is seriously adorable – and funny. Did you not see his abs in the hilarious movie Waiting? Or perhaps catch a glimpse of that killer smile?

2. Dane Cook. Not only is his stand up hilarious, but he’s got that dreamy guy-next-door-you’d-like-to-pounce-on look. Girls dig it. Guys dig it. I sure as heck do.

3. Sean William Scott. While Steve Stiffler is a piece of work, this guy is not too bad on the eyes. Ever see that movie Rundown with him and The Rock? Yummy.

4. Jim Carrey. Ah, a classic. This man can do it all, while maintaining a great physical appearance. That Jenny McCarthy must be keeping him young!

5. The Wilson Brothers. Whether you prefer blonde or brunette, there’s something for everyone in this twin set. I myself prefer Luke (circa Old School, “Yes Godfather, yes!”), but lots of ladies love the bummed out nose and surfer look of Owen. Let’s just hope the funny man can stay on track…wouldn’t want to disappoint his admirers.

6. Vince Vaughn. Some love his look. Others hate it. Personally, I’d love for his 6’7’’ frame to swing me around a dance floor like he did to Isla Fisher in Wedding Crashers, as he cracked jokes to her parents. He’s a burely type of man: likes to drink beer, stick his hand down his pants, burps and farts real loud. You ladies know you like it. Admit it.

7. The Wayans Brothers. Whether you like them skinny or muscular, Marlon and Shawn (don’t forget Keenan and Damon!) are some luscious looking funny men who can pull off spoof comedy, like dressing up as spoiled females in the movie White Chicks. Now, come on; what guys could put on tights, masks and make-up and still manage to rock our world?

8. Seth Rogen. There’s something about his curly hair and beer gut that has certain ladies requesting a little Knocked Up 2. It’s simple: He’s the guy who’d be in love with you in high school, but you’d be chasing after the hot jock. Give this funny man a chance. Laughter is the key to a women’s heart and this guys brutal honesty makes him endearing.

9. Will Smith. Although lately he’s made some more serious movies, Will Smith knew how to crack up an audience during his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air days. And he is still making me weak in the knees.

10. Kevin James. Call me a chubby chaser, but I think this guy is adorable. His stand-up is hilarious, his show, The King of Queens, is a modern-day Seinfeld/Married with Children (sans the children), and his Pillsbury doughboy look makes me want to cuddle up with him and watch a movie. Sigh….
