Uh oh.
Looks like Jessica’s new hair color wasn’t enough to convince John Mayer she was indie enough to be his girlfriend.
Everyone’s favorite gossip whore has just posted an exclusive clip about the break-up of one of the weirdest celebrity couples out there, J. Simpson and J. Mayer.
No clues as to why the relationship ended as of yet, but I mean, we can all guess, can’t we? Mayer, known for his musical talent as well as his thought-provoking lyrics and global awareness, and Simpson, known for her boobs, MTV reality series, and creepy, lecherous father, probably didn’t have much to talk about once they hopped out of bed. I know you all have been waiting on bated breath for a first glimpse into Jessica Simpson’s upcoming summer movie, Blonde Ambition.
The wait is over. You can breathe now!
Joining Ms. Mayer in the cast are Luke Wilson, (who must have gotten bribed into making this, although he seems to have a pension for movies with the word “Blonde” in the titles) Rachel Leigh Cook (who, since She’s All That, has seemed to drop off the face of the earth) and Andy Dick (hmmm….’nuff said).
The plot goes something like this: Jess is a small town country bumpkin who dreams big and miraculously finds herself immersed in big city life, bla bla bla.
She finds trouble when she gets wound up between two executive business men who both use her as a pawn to work their way up in the corporate world. Of course, she’s handed a perfect job in a swanky company without even trying and is given a “makeover” that entails hair extensions and a tight skirt, before any real magic can happen. Of course. Let the hilarious shenanigans ensue! Read More »

What is it about musicians?
As I write this, I’m sitting in a tiny room, surrounded by instruments and coffee cups and crumpled paper a few people practicing for an upcoming show. I’m here because I have to be—an end of the school year stage managing gig—but now that a few of the dudes in this place have opened up their mouths and started singing, I no longer mind the cramped space and the fact that every time someone opens the door they slam me and my chair and my left arm. Really fucking hard.
The boys in question, singing in perfect harmony as I put these words down, are not exactly the hottest things I’ve ever seen. I mean, they’re not bad. One of them is actually a little bit famous, but it’s not because of his slightly nondescript face and strange habit of squinting whenever he hits high notes.
It’s because he’s a musician.
It’s the Musician Factor. Read More »

I’ve always been a fan of John Mayer, and I’m not ashamed to say it. There’s just something about him, his rhaspy voice, his sick guitar skills and his clever wit that gets me all hot n’ bothered.
Let’s face it: he’s a great songwriter and that fact has pretty much stayed the same since he hit the music scene hard in 2001. It’s his appearance that has changed over the years, and since we’re all a bit superficial here, (some more than others) let me indulge you in the physical transformation of John Mayer that all seems to center itself around one little feature – hair.
When his popularity first grew circa Room for Squares he was clean-cut and clean-shaven – total preppy, total gel-head, total HOTTIE.
With Heavier Things, he got a little grungier, let the doo grow out a bit, rocked the blazer look, and yet, still hot.
Then, he met Jessica. Thus began John’s confusing, downward spiral into this, which has left me saddened beyond belief. It’s just bananas how much hair can totally change a person’s appearance, and sometimes, for the worse. Read More »
He’s a singer, he’s a songwriter, he’s dating Jessica Simpson, and he was just sitting back waiting on the world to change (while making his millions singing about it). But now, John Mayer is tired of waiting. He is taking matters into his own hands… by introducing his own theory on how to fix Global Warming.
On his website, Johnny-boy posted a rather lengthy, albeit interesting blog, “(Not) Waiting on the World to Change Entry No. 1,” where he vents about the importance of global warming and how our generation doesn’t care about it simply because it has yet to presented in a way that makes us care. (He claims that while An Inconvenient Truth was a good flick, the title was so “un-fun”).
So John Mayer took it upon himself to propose a new option for helping to reverse the damage that global warming has caused. Enter from stage left: Light Green. The John Mayer theory on global warming preaches that we all need to pick just one thing for now to change in our own lives in order to help reduce global warming effects.
Mayer is kick starting his new theory by producing a line of products that will be cheap alternatives in order to help cut down on plastics. And what’s more is he will bringing his new line to Y-O-U selling them at the merchandise stands on his tour this summer. Read More »
