Attention all men: I don’t want to see a picture of your cock.

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I am not a fan.  I appreciate its ability, stamina, even its appearance in small doses, but you are not going to turn me on by getting out your iPhone and sending me a picture of it. I don’t care how big it is or that it was just shaven. It’s just not going to work for me…or make that for most women.

After several incidents in the news about men sexting pictures of their shlongs (read: democratic congressman Anthony Weiner, rap-artist Kanye West and football star Brett Favre), Tracy Clark-Flory, a writer for Salon Magazine, conducted a short Twitter-based survey about women’s reactions to X-rated digital images. When she asked if cock-shots “do it” for any women, she was quickly met with responses like, “If by ‘do it’ you mean ‘send me to the toilet retching,’ then yes, they do,” and “Not at all. The penis is ugly. End of story.” Unsurprisingly, she concluded that the penis is one of the last male body parts that women want to actually see and that digital photos of male-members were often met with signs of repulsion. Although some women admitted to actually liking these risqué photos, one quickly cautioned that digital dicks should never be a sexting opener or a sharing device between uncommitted couples.

Tracy Clark-Flory infers that cock-shots were a lot like porn and blowjobs.  She concludes that some women love them, some hate them and that opinions are often extreme on either end. However, regardless of the strong opposing opinion, many men take a shot (pun intended) and send out a picture of their crotch. It is not just congressmen and celebrities that are fond of this form of sexting.  In fact, you don’t need to go any farther than Chat-Roulette to know that men love this type of digital flirtation.

Cindy Meston, co-author of Why Women Have Sex, believes that men do this because the reverse works for them. When women send them scandalous photos of their breasts or butt (note: rarely their va-jay-jays), it triggers “availability – an explicit, immediate sexual cue, which turns them on.” Cognitive neuroscientist, Ogi Ogas agrees with the concept of evolutionary sexual cues. As mentioned by Tracy Clark-Flory, Ogi Ogas says, “Men who send off penis pictures probably aren’t thinking at all, they’re responding to an unconscious, evolutionary urge likely inherited from our primate ancestors: male monkeys and apes routinely display their penises (usually erect) to females to indicate sexual interest.” Ogas points out that when men search for Internet porn, they look up “penises” nearly as often as “vaginas.” This may have something to do with the sexualized nature attributed to the member or the cultural significance of a “big dick.”

Regardless of the reason, we can easily infer that men are fascinated by their penises and may actually love them more than we do. If only we can get them to stop proving it to us. We get it, okay?

Maybe it’s because I’m done with finals and I have nothing to worry about. Maybe it’s because all of my favorite TV shows are going on hiatus. Maybe it’s because I zoomed through my blogs too quickly this week, but I have to say, I’ve come to a sad realization.

Celebrity scandal is dead.

Think about it. There has been absolutely nothing of interest going on in the world of celebs these past few weeks. Why is Hollywood so quiet? Even Charlie Sheen has been MIA.  Has it finally happened? Has Hollywood finally imploded? Has the well gone dry? Have they run out of stupid things to do? For my sanity, I hope not. Celebs, I beg of you, please continue to entertain me with stories of your crazy.

D. Trump has always been pretty obnoxious, but lately it’s getting a little out of hand and downright offensive. Obviously, I’m all for freedom of speech, but, uh, there is a difference between respectfully stating your opinion and acting like a spoiled two-year old throwing a tantrum.

With the rise in Donny’s public outbursts it’s a wonder people are still backing him for a presidential run (though I think it’s more democrats than republicans at this point….) The truth is, this guy is like an older, more annoying and less attractive Kanye. He loves himself like Kanye, he picks the worst times to express himself like Kanye, and he’s sending the nation into a tizzy like Kanye. (Sidenote: Should we be embarrassed as a nation that we’re just as upset about Trump being borderline racist as we are about Kanye hurting Taylor Swift’s feelings? Just a thought….)

Anyways, here are Trump’s most recent Kanye moments, which have all happened in the last month. Obviously, Trump, being the best at everything, had to out-Kanye Kanye.

Apparently putting your baby’s birth in the newspaper just isn’t done? Okay Don Don.
The Trumpster made a public request for President Obama’s birth certificate. Again and again and again. Which is fine, many other presidents have been called in to question before. But to react to Obama’s newspaper birth announcement with something as insensitive and ignorant as, “His family was poor, how could they have done such a thing?” Come on, D. Trump. Were you throwing back a bottle of Hennessey before making that little statement?

Black people can’t be that smart? Wow. Just….wow.
Shortly after his public records requests, Trump decided to pick another fight, questioning our man-of-the-hour’s credentials. Namely, his degrees from Harvard and Columbia.  D. Trump “can’t fathom that a black man can be that smart!” Well, Donald, I can’t fathom how you have gotten so many women to marry you. Or respect you.

America’s favorite funny guy Jerry Seinfeld recently pulled out of a charity event hosted by Trump’s son after hearing some of Trump’s remarks about the president. Can’t blame the guy, right? Well, Trump can! He Called his show (The Marriage Ref, set to return June 26th) a failure and attacked Jerry as well. Now that’s class! Meanwhile, although Seinfeld won’t be participating in the event, he will still be donating to both St. Jude and Trump’s son’s foundation. See Trump, that is how you publicly bitch slap someone.

Attacking ANOTHER TV Star?
Trump’s accusations on the President have not been sitting well with a lot of celebs, clearly. One of those being Letterman, who publicly called him a racist on his late night show. Donald fired back with a nasty little letter pulling out of his appearance on May 18th. Which, everyone knows, will only hurt Sir Trumps a Lot. I mean, what is he without all the media attention?

You think they’re stupid!?
“Our leaders are stupid, they are stupid people.” Interesting statement from a guy that the GOP, some of the stupid people he is referring to, is praying doesn’t run.

Sigh. The Donald. I’m just waiting to hear his response to Obama cutting off his show last night to address the nation. That’s gotta sting, huh Trumpeezy?

10. Kanye West.“Yo Sue, I’m really happy for you…I’mma let you finish. But Voldermort is the best evil villain of all time. The best evil villain of all time!”

9. Jennifer Hudson. Since she’s lost all that weight Jennifer Hudson has been getting lots and lots of media attention. But I’d like to think she’d take some time to pay a visit to her home channel, Fox 5, and hang with the Glee gang.

8. Rebecca Black. What? Come on. Don’t give me that look. It’s not like she wouldn’t fit right in with that crazy cast of characters. And it’s not like Glee isn’t going to be using her music in an upcoming episode anyway. Why not let Rebecca Black join in on the fun while we still know her name?

7. Britney Spears. I know they already covered her music in that whole dental hygiene hallucination episode that left me and Brittany a bit puzzled, but I think the pop princess herself should make an appearance. I mean, what better way to end the season than with a Brittney Spears and Brittany S. Pierce duet?    

6. Steven Tyler. I don’t know if anyone else is still watching American Idol, but I’ve seen a few episodes this season and let me tell you, Steven Tyler just about makes the show since Simon’s departure. You don’t know exactly what he’s saying or why he’s saying it, but he makes you laugh, and that pretty much sums up Glee these days anyway.

5. Justin Bieber. After that Bieber fever filled episode I honestly thought the Bibes himself was going to make an appearance in the halls of McKinley High. And with Sam and his new hairdo it kind of felt like he actually did. I’d love to see these two belting out “Baby” together. It’d be a bigger hit than “Friday.” Though, to be fair, ANYTHING should be a bigger his than “Friday.”

4. Taylor Swift. Can’t you just see Taylor Swift belting out “Never Group Up” with Quinn Fabray, the girl who grew up too fast? It’d be the perfect song for Quinn to sing to her daughter if she were to suddenly reappear, along with Rachel’s birth mom. Which could totally happen, if you ask me. 

3. Barbara Streisand. “Don’t Rain on My Parade” is probably one of my favorite Rachel Berry numbers so I can’t even imagine how great it would be to see Rachel singing “Funny Girl” with the original funny girl. It would make my Rachel’s dreams come true.

2.  Zac Efron. Let’s bring Zac back to his roots, huh? I mean, this was the man that made dancing through the halls and singing a normal, everyday activity. Let’s play some homage to the man that musicals cool again, huh, Glee? (Sidenote: somehow making his cameo into a shirtless/wet one wouldn’t be so bad either. Just Sayin’…..)

1. Tina Fey. If anyone can hold their own against Jane Lynch’s comedic timing it’s this lady right here. Can’t you just see her as Will’s one night stand turned obsessive stalker? I can see her already, dressing in sweater vests and pulling hairs out of Mr. Schuester’s head. Plus, her stalking Will gives us the perfect excuse for another shirtless Schue scene.

As most people know, unless you live under a rock, Katie Couric is leaving CBS. Which begs the question, who watches CBS News anyway is going to take her spot?

Couric’s tenure at CBS has been less than a fairytale. The first woman to host an evening news broadcast, CBS had high hopes for Couric and the ratings she would bring. Only, she didn’t. And now that she’s jumping ship for a daytime talk show, the CBS execs have a great opportunity to bring in someone who actually can.

What they need is someone who can spice up the news room a little bit. Someone who will make people want to watch the news, no matter how depressing it is. Someone new and interesting and exciting who will make us want to turn off ‘Friends’ reruns and catch up on what’s going on in the world.

And I’ve got a few money ideas.
