Celebdom is full of run-of-the-mill gorgeous people. We all fantasize and have our little lists of who we’d hook up with… but there are some that you just don’t talk about. Those famous people who aren’t exactly of the pre-Angie Brad Pitt reputation.
I have a list of celebrities I find attractive but maybe shouldn’t admit are attractive. These are not the Justin Timberlakes or David Beckhams, but instead, some questionable characters that I (secretly?) feel deserve some consideration:
Chris Brown. He is 18, and therefore I am allowed to judge him. He can dance. And I love that stupid “Kiss, Kiss” song, something I also am a little embarrassed about. I found his stint on the OC rather ambitious. He is kind of adorable.
Jon Stewart. At only 5’7″, he doesn’t meet my usual height requirement. But he’s hilarious. He’s smart. He played soccer at William and Mary. I love him. Read More »
‘Juno’ cutie Michael Cera stars as Alexander Hamilton in this first viral installment of Drunken History – Thanks to our friends at Bestweekever.tv and Comedy Central Insider for turning us on to this little beauty.
To kick off the album’s release, Rhino has put together this super-clever e-card that allows you to upload your own photo and trick it out Juno style. C’mon, you know you always wondered what you would look like preggers sucking a slurpee.
Finding ourselves restless and deliriously ADD by Christmas night, my sister and I escaped our minimum security prison (i.e. home) for a movie date to see Juno, that new film with uber-talented Ellen Page, so-endearing-you-want-to-bite-him Michael Cera, and Jennifer Garner.
Anyway, halfway through the movie I realized how strange it is how much pregnancy has been belittled through the media lately? First there was Knocked Up, which basically made a huge (and addictively funny) joke out of getting preggo off a one-night-stand, something I’m sure girls everywhere didn’t exactly have on their Christmas list.
Then, there’s the crazy celebrity baby boom what with J.Lo, Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba, oh hey and now, the Mini Spears, now that’s hot. With so many preg-celebs with tabloids booming, “Mommy-to-be-still beautiful as ever!” and whatever else they cook up, I just feel like everwhere I turn it’s preggo this preggo that. Read More »
And lately, who doesn’t? Girls are going nuts over this guy!
The only other thing y’all would have really seen him in was as the awkward, nervous and hilarious George-Michael Bluth in Arrested Development, but now that Superbad is a hit, he’s gonna be everywhere.
His character in Superbad, Evan, is adorably dorky yet totally likable. In my opinion, he completely makes the movie. All of his lines are funny, and he delivers them awesomely. He’s got that shy confidence that could easily pull Becca, his on-screen crush, in real life, if he wanted to.
Radar has a great interview with the 19-year-old Canadian cutie you can check out here, where he talks about using game on the ladies and living with the ‘rents. Read More »
I don’t consider myself an especially cool person. I like video games and computers. I read a lot. It only takes me two beers to start making bad decisions. But earlier this week I had an unexpected – but very welcome – boost to my self-esteem.
I found myself standing in an absurdly long line outside a movie theater on 34th Street. And while the crowd was varied, they all had one thing in common. Comedy geeks. And what was the thing to do in NYC earlier this week for these lovers of all things funny?
An advanced screening of Superbad, of course!
But, c’mon, who am I kidding? I was probably more excited than most of the people in the theater, (and it was only partly due to my intense crush on Michael Cera) I’ve just convinced myself over the past 23 years that I’m not obvious about my semi-closeted affection for comedy.
The lights went down, the movie started, and I, along with the rest of the audience, was treated to one of the best teen comedies based on partying, drinking, and being 18 that I’ve seen since 1999 (remember when we all thought American Pie was hilariously original?). Read More »
