Mornings are hard enough without having to deal with fancy make-up techniques and surprise zits. Keep these 3 steps in mind when you’re rushing out the door and you’ll be sure not to show up to class with an eyeliner disaster.
1. First things first; after you splash your face with fresh cold water in the morning and smile at yourself in the mirror (damn girl, you lookin’ fine) make sure to avoid these make-up blunders. I think Snooksters should read this…
2. Acne is the first thing I notice on my face in the morning. For some scary reason I thought the zitty buggers would stop popping up after I endured a brutal awkward phase and puberty. Hmph, not so much. It’s a mine field on your face sometimes. Come morning, take the natural route in fulfilling your wildest clear skin dreams.
3. And most importantly, remember to love yourself. As you look in the mirror every morning, take this note to your body (personalized for you) and recite it. Being comfortable in your skin is the best beauty tip out there.

Week after week (after week after week…), CollegeCandy and our pal John bring you some of the weirdest, funniest, and saddest things he hears on his college campus. And we know he’s not the only one who hears this stuff. Join the Overheard revolution! Listen in on some weirdos’ conversations and share them in the comments or send ‘em over to us to put in next week’s post.
(Woman, to her son, in a CVS.)
Mom: Look! Thanksgiving! You’re not scared of Thanksgiving, right?
Kid: Waaaah!
(Two students in an education class.)
Student 1: One of my girls spelled “pennies” wrong today. I was laughing way too hard to correct her.
Student 2: The funny part will be when she’s working with the national treasury. ‘The most outdated part of our financial system is the penis!’ Read More »

Last time: mud bowl, Bret kept everyone around for this episode and – God, I don’t care, just cut to eliminations now please.
Episode 6 starts bright and early in the morning. Bret wakes up the girls and Big John, who I find to be more and more intriguing with each episode, hands Pey-ton a Bret-O-Gram (what the hell are they calling these?) to read aloud outlining the challenge for the day.
Where is Bret from, like, Pittsburgh? Any Pittsburgh girls want to come out and tell me if there are any cowboys out where you are?
I ask because the challenge is broken down into three events involving greased pigs, lassoing and horses. Anyway, Rodeo and her “hellish laugh” come out on a horse to help with the Rocker Rodeo Relay and I hate the people who named this challenge. Just like the Mud Bowl, there will be two teams and the MVP will win a solo date while the remaining winning team members get a group date.
Team captains again get to choose their teammates. Catherine and her beehive lead the blue team (Inna, Peyton, Daisy and Megan) and Ambre leads the red team (Destiney, KJ and Jesssica).
Stupid Megan thinks that the girls are jealous of her hotness and that’s why no one picks her. No, stupid, it’s because you probably don’t understand the rules of the games without diagrams and finger paint. Read More »

I heart muffins.
It doesn’t really matter what type of muffins they are—I’ll eat any flavor.
I’ll eat muffins with nuts, with berries, with chocolate chips…you can even put carrot and zucchini in there, I won’t mind.
Since the weekend is finally here, why don’t we celebrate two wonderfully late mornings with a beautiful muffin recipe that includes fall’s sweetest treat: apples?
Wake up your whole dorm with the amazing smell of these muffins, and you might just become the most popular girl in school—at least until they’re all gone.
Here’s what you need to get started: Read More »
