Hot or Hot Mess: Lady Gaga at the iheartradio music festival in Moschino

I’m gonna keep it short and sweet.

Gaga, why would you ever consider a dress made of meat when you can look this good?

This is a non-negotiable HOT from me. She looks perfect. I cannot understand why she doesn’t dress like this all the time.

Gaga channeled her inner Audrey Hepburn in this Fall 2011 black peplum Moschino dress, which she paired with Louboutin heels, Fendi sunglasses, leather gloves, Kenneth Jay Lane diamonds and a Salvatore Ferragamo envelope clutch.

This whole look is perfect. The jewellery is classy and not over-done (which I think with so many diamonds, it could easily have been). The shoes are sophisticated, just the way Louboutins should be, and her sunglasses and leather gloves give it that unmistakable touch of Gaga that this outfit could easily have lacked.

I love seeing Gaga looking normal and sexy. I hope to see in her in something like this again soon.

Hot, or just not Gaga enough for you?

Hot or Hot Mess: Zooey Deschanel in Moschino at the My Idiot Brother Premiere NYC

I have a confession to make- I love Zooey Deschanel. As in, I really love her. I want to be her and marry her all at the same time. She is one of my number one style icons and as far as I’m concerned, she could walk around in a snuggy and I would still think she looked amazing.

However, while always looking amazing, she sometimes makes some strange sartorial choices. Usually sticking to vintage style dresses and Mary Janes, she sometimes goes for something a little more quirky. Like this Moschino dress. Read More »

Rock the Look: Roses

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with roses?

At Chanel’s spring 2009 couture show, models walked the runway adorned with paper roses in their hair. At Valentino and Moschino, dresses and accessories featured oversized origami-like roses. Looks like Carrie Bradshaw’s flower obsession is back…and bigger than ever.

If you don’t have a real bouquet to flaunt this weekend, throw on a rose embellished headband or pair of heels. Or pick up some rose-inspired fashion; you can add a little Spring to your wardrobe and stay one fashionable step ahead of your friends who are still trying to pull off the whole bow trend. Going Incognito: Sunglasses Trends for the Summer

Sunglasses are in year-round, but summer is definitely a time to show off how style-savvy you are with your specs. Whether navigating the city, laying on the beach, or bike riding along the boardwalk, sunglasses are a fun way to accessorize while also protecting your eyes, and are a small piece of an ensemble that can express your own personal style. This year we’re seeing many of the trends of years past, with a few newbies thrown in, and some minor changes to add a new look.

While it’ll eventually go out of fashion, don’t expect that to happen for the next couple of years. This look doesn’t work for every face shape, but if you can rock it, it can be a blast. You can go for many different shapes; square, round, oval. We’re even seeing octagonal and heart shapes! And the color combos are endless. Classic black gives an Audrey Hepburn look, while going for a fun, funky color and shape allows a whole new feeling. The best advice is to try these glasses on and make sure they don’t take over your face, then have fun with it! Read More »
