When The OC premiered, well, more years ago than I care to think about, teens fell in love with Seth Cohen. More adorable nerd than classic boy-next-door, his quirkiness endeared himself to us and we were rooting for him to hookup with the unattainable popular girl, Summer Roberts. Eventually, she too fell for him and fans everywhere cheered. The rest went down in geek history.

Since the days of Seth and Summer, it’s become totally cool to like bespectacled video gamers over muscly heartthrobs (not that we aren’t loving ourselves some Chris Hemsworth…). To celebrate all thinks geek chic, The Rapper P.D.A. has released a song called GEEK…and we’re totally crushing. Check it out and swoon!

Rihanna released a new music video today for her song “Where Have You Been,” and I’ve been thoroughly entertained by it. No, not because it’s a particularly good music video but because, if you turn the sound off, it’s pretty hilarious. Sure, I get the point of the video: Rihanna is saying “where have you been?” to a perfect guy because she has literally searched everywhere, as evidenced by this video in which she is literally looking everywhere. And yet, if you turn the sound off, the point of the video is completely lost. Here are a couple things Rihanna could be doing in this video:

That’s right! News just in that TLC is going to resurrect Left Eye in true Tupac/Coachella fashion for an upcoming reunion tour. TMZ reports that five major cities have already been booked, and there are many more in the works. While no hologram can ever replace the real artist, this technology opens a whole new realm of concert opportunities. Is it creepy? Should we allow technology to bring people back from the grave for the sake of entertainment? Does this devalue the worth of the artist and the experience fans had with them while they were alive?

Who knows! If this does become a trend in the music community, there are a number of bands we expect to make a comeback…

In a not-really-surprising move, British boyband The Wanted has revealed that their song “Glad You Came” is about orgasms. Glad you came, get it? It seems awfully obvious when you think about it.

Being a boyband, The Wanted has a pretty young audience. A lot of their listeners are probably too young to pick up on the dirtier aspects of the song. What a surprise they’ll be in for in a few more years. This got us thinking back to the pop music from our childhood. There were definitely some songs we used to know by heart that we probably shouldn’t have been singing along to. Turns out the 90s were a dirty time. Click through the gallery to see what we mean.

As Spring and Summer approach, our anticipation for music festival season crescendos with a fury. Sunshine, music, beautiful people and booze? Give it here. CollegeCandy decided to kick off the music festival season with a good old fashioned bucket list. We have compiled a monster list of 50 things to complete before the season is over. Some items are more scandalous or embarrassing than others, but all are designed to make sure you have a hell of a time.

But not only are we offering you this list (because anyone can do that), we are taking things a step further and vowing to complete every item with you. That’s right, CollegeCandy editor, Jenny Baker, will take on the challenge as she travels to South by South West in Austin Texas this next week. If she can check off every item by the end of SXSW, there is no excuse for you to not finish the list before the end of the festival season. I know I’m not alone in my love of Pandora Radio. Whether I’m studying, walking to class, having a dance party with my friends or working out, I have a station that suits my every situation and mood.

As much as I love Pandora, though, I’ve recently discovered a new site that’s giving Pandora a run for it’s money.

Raditaz is an internet radio service, much like Pandora, except it has over 14 million songs in their library — that’s about 13 million more than Pandora has. That means you might have better luck of finding songs from an obscure artist you liked back in your high school punk days, and also that there’s less chance of hearing the same songs over and over.

Like Pandora, you can create a station based on an artist you like and refine it based on liking or disliking the songs that come up. If a song comes on that you don’t like, you can skip it (up to six an hour per station). But unlike Pandora, Raditaz has no audio ads (just ads on the site itself).

Browsing stations is also a bit different from Pandora — they’re organized by genre, but you can also browse popular stations (called “trending” stations, like on Twitter), or by location (laid out on a Google map).

Raditaz also has mobile apps for Android and iPhone, so you can listen on the go. The apps also give you the option to name your stations (“work out,” “study,” or “pre-game,” for example).

Try ditching your old online music streamer and rock on with Raditaz! I guarantee you’ll like it!
