So if you’re our fan of CollegeCandy on Facebook, you’ve most likely already seen the 25 dudes Men’s Fitness’ named most fit. If you haven’t, here you go. (Hell, even if you already looked through that photo album 10 times, it’s worth giving it another once over….You know I’m right.)

Anyone who spends 5 minutes flipping through all those abs and arms knows that Men’s Fitness did a pretty good job making their choices. That being said, when I finally got to the end (after I had to take a break halfway through to take a cold shower), I couldn’t help but notice a few glaring omissions from this list. I mean, how can you have what is essentially a “best body” list without Taylor Lautner?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD?

So I decided to take it upon myself to fill in the gaps for those guys over at Men’s Fitness. Below, the ten fit/muscley/wash-your-sexy-undies-on-their-rock-hard-abs guys they seemed to have forgotten about. Oh, and let us know if we left anyone off. We’d hate to miss a muscle.

The Sundance Film Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year, especially for random D-List celebrities that haven’t gotten an invite to anything except Dr. Drew’s sober house since the late ’90s. I mean, what’s Andrew Keegan doing there?

But seriously, Sundance is a huge event for the movie industry and everyone who’s anyone flocks to Park City, Utah for all the free swag the exhibition of 200 new films, live music performances, panel discussions with filmmakers, innovative media installations, and, of course, ridiculous parties! And since we didn’t quite make the guest list (damn you, Keegan, for taking the last spot!), we’re forced to live vicariously through the fabulous people who did. So here’s a taste of the celebrity eye candy hanging out and hitting up the free stuff the slopes at this year’s Sundance Film Festival!

Ahhh the holidays! Time for cookies, ornaments, drinks, and songs!  And lots of love.  Tons of new couples are blossoming, but how many will really make it into the New Year?  Probably not many.  But that’s Hollywood!  There’s new couples, marriages, and a bunch of crazy as usual.

1. Are Ryan Gosling and Blake Lively dating? It certainly looks like it! The two have been spotted several times over the past few months, but this week they were seen at an after-party for Ryan’s new movie Blue Valentine. Apparently they were quite snuggly.  Fun-fact: Blake was in Paris the day before! It must have been really important for her to be at the after-party.  This could be serious, or not since Blake recently split from ex Penn Badgley earlier this fall.  Watch out Blake, Ryan’s ours.

2. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are finally getting hitched this weekend!  It’s about time.  These two have been dancing around the idea of marriage for years, but it’s finally happening.  It looks like the wedding will be at Lionel Richie’s house and tents have been put up throughout the week.  Congrats!

3. Leonardo Dicaprio goes gay! On screen that is.  Leo will be playing J. Edgar Hoover in Clint Eastwood’s upcoming biopic.  And guess what?  Hoover’s rumored lover, Clyde Tolson, will be played by The Social Network hottie Armie Hammer.  You know, the Winklevoss twins guy.  Unfortunately we can only expect some making out according to sources.

4. Hot mess Alexis Neiers is going to rehab. You might remember her from the Bling Ring and E!’s Pretty Wild.  Well, last week when she violated her probation, she was arrested for possession of black tar heroin and a fake ID.  She was facing two years in prison, but instead got the Lindsay Lohan route and was sentenced to a year in rehab.  The judge gave her a stern warning that if she comes back again, it’s jail. Hopefully she can turn it around.

5. French hottie Marion Cotillard might be engaged! Sources are speculating that the Inception actress may be engaged to boyfriend Guillaume Canet.  She was spotted wearing what looks like an engagement ring at the Marrakech Film Festival this week.  Some are also saying that she’s pregnant!  Congrats if it’s all true Miss Cotillard!

Coal In Your Stocking

1. Surprise! Kim Kardashian isn’t dating Gabriel Aubry. Anymore that is.  She moves fast doesn’t she?  Kim broke up with Halle’s ex and is now dating New Jersey Jets player, Kris Humphries. Wonder how long that will last.

2. Emma Stone trades her amber locks for blonde! While Emma is a natural blonde, it’s still shocking to see her as anything but a fiery redhead.  She did it for her role as Gwen Stacey in the Spiderman reboot with Andrew Garfield.

3. Blue Valentine gets a new rating! The MPAA rated Blue Valentine NC-17, which was overturned this week to R after Harvey Weinstein himself argued the rating during the appeal.  Now you can see all the sex you want, as long as you can get into R!

4. Willow Smith is touring with Justin Bieber! This is going to be amazing!! Biebs and Willow will be touring together next year in Europe.  Get ready to whip yo hair!

5. Hugh Jackman is still hot.

[Ladies, meet Meredith, the newest addition to the CollegeCandy team. She's a BU student, a movie buff, and an all around fantastic chicadee. She'll be our resident movie gal, giving us the ins and outs of the new releases and telling us whether or not its worth it to fork over $12 for the latest flicks.]

Easy A is the story of “anonymous” high school student, Olive (Emma Stone). Olive tells her story to her webcam in a monologue-esque tone. Although it is clear that she is addressing an audience, this is very clearly HER story. She explains how her friend Brandon asks her to tell everyone that they had sex so that people would think he was straight. In an effort to move the plot along (and because Olive is a great friend), two minutes later, Olive and Brandon are banging on the walls of a party for their faux-sex sesh.

Soon, every nerdy guy is asking Olive to do the same for them. And before long (and after many fake sex sessions) she ticks off the group of Christians at her school, led by Marianne (the retired Amanda Bynes). After a scuffle in an English class that is reading The Scarlet Letter, Olive decides to go all out and put a red A on all of her clothes. For those who have forgotten the plot from the Sparknotes version that they read in high school, The Scarlet Letter is about the Puritan protagonist, Hester Prynne, being forced to wear a red “A” (for “Adulterer”) after getting pregnant out of wedlock.

It’s very rare that some teen movie comes out that speaks to high school students while still making them laugh. Easy A tries very hard to compare itself to John Hughes films, but for our generation, much like 10 Things I Hate About You and Mean Girls. They’re over the top, they’re corny at times, they reinforce certain stereotypes,  but they remain relatable to most “misunderstood” teens. But Easy A isn’t like these movies for one main reason: Easy A doesn’t speak to the group, it tells the story of ONE girl.

Easy A isn’t The Breakfast Club, 10 Things I Hate About You, or Mean Girls for this very reason. That’s why it kind of pissed me off that it was trying so hard to be a “high school film.” Emma Stone is awesome. She’s funny, cute, quirky, and she really can carry this movie. But it isn’t about high school; it’s about Olive and her journey. The film surrounds Olive with geeks, homosexuals, and Christians, but they are nothing but caricatures.

Although I was disappointed that Olive was basically the only developed character, the film was decent. But I wouldn’t rush out to see it. The acting by Amanda Bynes, Penn Badgley, Patricia Clarkson, Lisa Kudrow, and Stanley Tucci was as good as it could have been for the flat characters they were given to work with. Seriously, I’m talking no depth at all and no explanation for any of their character’s actions. I’m hoping that Emma Stone will take be able to take on some riskier roles now that she has proven that she can carry a movie.

By the way, halfway through, I really started to wonder, if word at this school travels so fast that “who’s sleeping with who” gets around before second period AND many guys know that they can hire Olive to lie for them, why are there still people in the school who aren’t in on the scam?

Overall, the film is cute with some fun one-liners. And Emma Stone truly is brilliant. I would recommend it as long as you’re not going in hoping for the Easy A that’s seen in the trailer (a high school comedy that will resonate with all teens). Instead, enjoy Olive’s story.

P.S. Amanda Bynes – will you retire already? JK? But not really? Well, just continue to keep us posted.

Take off your shirt, Penn. That will protect you!

I love a good edge-of-your-seat, will-I-or-will-I-not-pee-my-pants kind of thriller movie. Something about not knowing whether or not I’m going to scream or cry or lose control of my bladder really delights me. Which is why I’ve been counting down the minutes since I first saw the commercial for “The Stepfather” (and then saw it again 1,000 times) during Gossip Girl a few weeks back.

And it’s finally here! So, this weekend I am forgoing my usual drinking plans, grabbing a boy (a strong boy who can wrap his big, muscle-y arms around me when I’m crying) and scaring the crap out of myself at the movies.

In this remake of the 1987 version, “The Stepfather” is about a man who moves in with his fiance and her family, and then his sketch appears on America’s Most Wanted. For killing his former families. Talk about a buzz kill for that engagement.

But hey, brutal killers need love too, don’t they?

As much as I love the idea of this Step-DILF trying to kill his new family, the real reason I’m willing to give up $2 draft night is the one and only Penn Badgley. And the multiple gratuitous topless shots I spied in the trailer. What more can a girl ask for? Personally, I’m excited to see how Penn gets to the bottom of this mystery… in as little clothing as possible.

With Halloween right around the corner, it’s time to get in the spirit. Watching Penn Badgley fight off a murderer is way better than any haunted house you may go to or the 128th installment of SAW. Really? Another one!?

So grab a guy (and an adult diaper?) and head to the nearest movie theater.
You can hit up $2 draft night on the way home and drink away the nightmares.

I’m suffering from major Gossip Girl withdrawal.  Mainly because it means I don’t get to see the lovely Blake Lively grace the screen each week as the socialite Serena van der Woodsen. I’ll just have to Netflix Season 1 on DVD to get me through the summer months…

I’ve been crushing on Blake long before she was getting herself into trouble (while donning the most delectable duds) as Gossip Girl’s bad-girl-gone-good(ish). My crush developed when Blake played the blonde-bombshell, soccer-playing Bridget in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Back then, Blake was fresh out of high school. She was young and unknown and I found myself wanting to be her.

She’s gotten a little older and has a few new roles under her belt, but my adoration for her has not wavered.

Despite growing up in Hollywood, Blake is a good girl.  You don’t see her out partying it up or doing drugs in the bathroom, and she has yet to be arrested. Though, if Gossip Girl is any indication, she’d have one hot mugshot! The main rumors circulating about her (and there are very few) involve rivalry on the GG set. Oh, and the fact that she is rock solid with co-star boyfriend Penn Badgely. Who she is always PDAing with. And, surprisingly, it doesn’t even gross me out; I actually find it quite adorable.

In the time between filming Gossip Girl and looking fabulous on the red carpet, Blake has managed to have a few minor roles in other films. She played the love interest of Justin Long in Accepted, and starred in Elvis and Anabelle. She has also wrapped filming for The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and New York, I Love You.

Blake once confessed that due to her height and the addition of sky-high heels she feels like a tranny at times. I’m assuming she means a hot tranny. The hottest tranny. I mean, what can this girl possibly hate about herself? She was ranked #33 on Maxim’s Hot 100 List and has graced the covers of countless fashion magazines. But I guess all girls, no matter how beautiful, have their insecurities, and the fact that Blake can joke about her insecurities makes me want to curl up on a couch with some martinis and hang out with her even more.

And a little time in her closet wouldn’t hurt. I’d do anything to get my hands on this dress.

5 ways to stay productive this summer.

Jenny’s resolution, apparently, was to finish high school…but she’s dropped the “Little J” business and makes it her goal to save Nelly from Blair’s Queen Bee squad. She recruits Eric and Nelly to take over the “cool” table, and, since Blair’s having a Bass-induced breakdown, J manages to win the upper hand. Ironically, when Nelly realizes that Jenny has no hope of stealing Blair’s crown, she runs back to the popular kids. Ha, ha, ha. What satire!

Meanwhile, the writers took advantage of GG’s break to make a clean break from Serena’s art-beau, Aaron, who doesn’t even get a sappy break-up scene. (Thank God.) Instead, it seems that S. just flat out left him in Buenos Aires when she realized that Lily and Rufus weren’t shacking up and that she could bang Dan without feeling incestuous. Rufus, of course, is less than happy to find Serena and Dan blissfully happy. Remember last month’s cliffhanger? “Was it a boy or a girl?” We find out that it was a boy, and that Lily put him up for adoption and relinquished her rights to ever search for him, much to Rufus’s dismay.

Chuck, still wallowing in the aftermath of his father’s untimely death, has become a zombie that not even Blair can seem to crack. So, he brings a joint to school and breaks the news to Dan that he has an illegitimate half-brother out there somewhere. Blair remains faithful to her shell of a man-crush, and even tries to act as his guardian when he’s summoned to the office for smoking hash in the hallways (how cute), but then the mysterious new character, Uncle Jack, interrupts and takes responsibility. What does Jack have up his sleeve?

Just before her party, it seems that Blair is ready to wash her hands of Chuck, though she insists, “I’m not abandoning Chuck. I’m just saving myself.” I actually believed her. But I guess when someone almost falls to their death in a drunken stupor, you have to let yourself care again, at least a little.

The ending was sweet, I think, when Chuck finally climbs down and into savior-Blair’s arms, but to me, after all of the “say the words” games we had to suffer through last semester, it was anti-climatic. Especially since a dramatic tension still lingers between Blair and Uncle Jack. Of course, this is the GG style. Wrap up some of the old loose ends (the explanation of Lily’s first kid) and leave a lot of room for the drama to snowball into the inevitable avalanche that will be the season finale.

Welcome back, Upper East Siders. My Monday nights are back! Although…my Chace Crawford cravings have yet to be satisfied.

Last night’s GG episode was pretty freaking juicy. Within the first 30-seconds, we knew what party (the Senior Snowball) would be the scene of all of the cut-throat drama, and the snowball just kept rolling from there.Here’s the rundown (of the first 5 minutes):

Blair doesn’t know who to bring the Snowball, Serena meets Aaron’s ex-slash-Dan’s-instant-Snowball-date (who wants to bang Dan… go figure), and Vanessa is acting shady… could it be because after stealing Nate’s letter to Jenny, she’s been creeping with Sexkitten Archibald? After that spiel to Jenny about friendship coming first? Oh, snap. You know Gossip Girl is going to spill that news.

In other news, one of Blair’s cliquesters, Penelope, gets a lot of screen time in this ep, as she commissions the out-of-work Jenny to make her dress for the Snowball. Penelope, I know you and Jenny aren’t friends, but you should take the stick out of your a** before asking someone to do you a last minute favor. Just saying. (Editor’s Note: And didn’t Jenny get back at Penelope by designing the ugliest dress of all time? Seriously? That sh*t was nasty.)

After GG publicizes a smooch between V and Nate, Penelope serves as a driving force behind J’s revenge scheme…because, after all, “Vanessa shouldn’t be fishing in ‘her’ pond.” Apparently Penelope didn’t get the message that Nate is over the Rich Clique, after being on Blair’s tight leash since pre-school. Also, she kinda sucks.

Though Jenny and Vanessa deserve credit for their brief catfight, Blair and Chuck steal the show (yet again) when they make a bet and agree to find each other dates to Snowball. If Blair wins, she gets access to Chuck’s limo for a month. If Chuck wins, he gets Blair’s maid. Wasn’t slavery abolished a few hundred years ago? Not in Waldorf world? Okay, just checking.

The Snowball finally arrives, and Blair and Chuck have set each other up with the most Chuck- and Blair-esque kids in school, respectively. How ironic when their pawns end up falling for each other? Vanessa dons a see-through dress to the ball, courtesy of Jenny Humphrey’s bitchy side. And, just as planned, the whole school sees right through it. And the world ends.

Seriously? I don’t think that’s that bad– I mean, for one, it’s not like Vanessa decided to skip the skivvies, and she happens to have a hot bod. How is barely a semi-flash to the school comparable to a Janet Jackson experience? Was there a nipple slip that I missed while spooning the last of my ice cream out of the carton?

So, Vanessa cries, and Nate is disappointed in Jenny. Vanessa and Nate get a couple of heartfelt monologues, fueled by plenty of tears, and sealed with an almost sexy smooch (there was dripping snot/tears, which sorta ruined things for me).

Meanwhile, Chuck asks Blair to dance:

“What’s the point, Chuck? We’re never going to be them.”

“I don’t want to lose what we have.”

“What do we have, Chuck? Tell me.”

“Tonight.”

Now that is the shizz GG is made of. Where were the Chucks of the world when I was in high school?

Also getting their moment of sap, Dan and Serena have a sex talk about moving on from their long-dissolved relationship. Just in case anyone out there actually cares about Dan’s pathetic sex life. Yawn.

Can we get back to Chuck? After Lily confesses to Rufus that she’s going to divorce Bart, Chuck has yet another moment when he tells Lily that she was good for the family, and that he always liked her, no matter how she acted.

Speaking of Bart: just as someone was rumored to die tonight, Lily gets a phone call. Mr. Bass has been in an accident. And we won’t find out what happens for another whole week. But when we do, it’s gonna be even juicier.

Of course, no celebs are immune to the occasional “what the hell were they thinking?” moment, but for the most part, these celebs look foxy and fabulous and inspire us all to do the same.]

Blake Lively put herself on the radar with her debut in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but it was her starring role in Gossip Girl that ushered her into stardom and really put her on the map. It’s hard not to notice her gorgeous blonde locks, those perfect legs that go for miles and her stunning smile, but on top of those physical features, Blake’s got a timeless and perfect style. (Editor’s Note: I want it, I want it, I want it.)

Blake Lively has the ability to do something many of us hope we can pull off: look phenomenal not only when all dolled up, but also when doing her daily business in jeans and sweaters. She’s a huge fan of Chanel and oftentimes seems to embody the old glamour that Coco Chanel created.

Part of Lively’s flawless style is her ability to accentuate her assets perfectly. She shows off her gorgeous gams with skinny jeans that accentuate all the right details, and she is a master at coming up with the perfect outfit – from clothes, to shoes, to bags and accessories. Add her hottie bf/co-star, Penn Badgley, onto her arm and this girl is the hottest of hot young Hollywood, through and through.
