Like most people, I thought this entire Perez vs. Will.I.Am sitch would be long over by now. But who am I kidding? This is Perez Hilton we’re talking about. He’s still dragging out the Miss California trainwreck out and it’s been months. Today Perez released an 11 minute video explaining his side of the story. I refuse to watch the video (because looking at this kid for 11 minutes is as painful as getting a 60 minute Brazilian) and even just knowing it exists has made me so angry I’ve been forced to indulge in a spoonful jar of peanut butter just to calm myself.
I know I’m going to get a lot of flack for saying this, but Perez deserved to be punched. I know violence is never the answer, but either is malicious gossip or name-calling. In fact, I’m surprised this is the first time Perez has taken a beat-down. Perez is an awful human being and here are my top 10 reasons (there are hundreds) that I’d totally punch that dude with all my might if I ever had the chance: Read More »

How many times can you remember yourself perusing Facebook or updating your MySpace profile when you had an urgent assignment due the very next day?
If you are unable to come up with a solid number to answer this question (because the number of times has been so great), you may be what is commonly known as a “Cyberslacker”.
Don’t panic!
According to Trendhunter.com, a recent survey done by Salary.com concluded that 6 out of every 10 workers openly admits to wasting time at work. The same survey indicates that 34% of these people use the Internet as their main tool to procrastinate.
Although we’re not holed up in cubicles just yet, college students face this very same challenge on a daily basis.
How do you buckle down and get that paper written without straying to good old Facebook to see who changed their interests in the last 6 minutes?
If you’re a student, build up some self-discipline. If you are heading out into the workforce, however, you may not need to change your procrastinating ways.
Surprisingly, some employers believe that this illegal down time may actually be beneficial to productivity in the long run. By taking short breaks during the day, employees will not take extended lunch hours or completely burn themselves out. Read More »

You’ve heard it, right? Alec Baldwin’s criz-azy message to his 11-year-old daughter? You know, the message where he swears at her and calls her a pig?
According to this website, the illustrious phone message may have been leaked to the press by Baldwin’s ex, Kim Basinger. Apparently, the two movie stars—who seem to be fighting for more years than they were married—hate each other so badly that they’ve decided to use their young daughter as weapon. According to reports, Baldwin claims that Basinger is trying to turn his daughter against him, while Basinger claims that Baldwin has “anger issues” and was an abusive father. Awesome. So cool that these two adults are turning their only child into collateral during their messy divorce. I’m sure she’s going to grow up to be perfectly normal with no developmental or emotional problems. Totally.
Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, you two are doing an amazing job as parents! You’re completely normal and mature, and I salute your unselfish behavior during this tumultuous time in your life! Hopefully, more and more couples in the process of separation will look to you two for advice because man, you’ve got it all figured out!
