Remember the days when John Stamos was best known for his mullet role on Full House instead of Glee? When Leonardo DiCaprio was the teen heart throb from Titanic instead of the guy who stared in the freaky dream movie? When Brad was still with Jen and and George Clooney was the hottie on ER?

I do…vaguely.

A lot has changed since our early years. Preteens today are swooning over the Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber rather than Leo and co. But just because these heartthrobs are no longer teens, doesn’t mean they’re any less hot. Or any less worthy of our swooning.

So, for your viewing pleasure I’ve put together a gallery of the ten actors that have aged oh so well, with evidence of their hotness both then, and now.

Get ready to drool in 5, 4, 3, 2….

Whether he’s spent half of his career in the slammer or not, Robert Downy Jr. has always been a favorite with the ladies.  Those lips, those puppy dog eyes…those freaking biceps in Iron Man, RDJ is pure middle-aged fantasy material if I’ve ever seen it.

Speaking of fantasies, RDJ just admitted to Now Magazine that he used to be a compulsive masturbator!  Which is really pretty strange!  [Our exclamation points are because we don't know how to process this information!]

“I was a compulsive, serial masturbator, but it was the best thing I could have been. I utilized that organ and rode it for everything it was worth.” 

Hmm.   Awkward.  Downy goes on to say this:

“[masturbating] no longer a motivating factor for me. My union with [my wife] is sacred. Almost always, guys want to get laid. They have a girlfriend, they want to f*ck her friend. But I’m not that guy.”

Good to know that he don’t want to eff his wife’s friends.  Also good to know that he believes marriage is sacred.  Weird to know that he used to tug it all the time.

Some people enjoy sharing, I guess.

I like superhero movies. They’re rad. Growing up in the rural North East, there wasn’t much to do once the sun went down, and so instead of huffing paint thinner in the backyard like our neighbors, my brother and I turned to comics. X-Men, Batman, Spiderman, Aliens…and all the 701 offshoots of each. Many hours of my childhood were spent sitting in a Ninja Turtle tent in my brother’s room, passing the newest issue of X Force and a box of Hostess cupcakes back and forth with him.

I’ve seen the X-man movies, watched every single Spiderman (even though I have this huge issue with Kristin Dunst), drooled over Christian Bale as Batman, and recently had the ultimate pleasure of watching Iron Man – and Robert Downy Jr. – kick ass on the big screen.

[Okay, slight tangent: can we talk about the scene where RDJr. is in the cave, and he’s all mad and sweaty and dirty and hammering STEEL? Lord. Pass the HOTsauce please]
