It was just December that Russell Brand filed for divorce, but TMZ reports that Katy Perry is already flaunting her new beau Robert Ackroyd, guitar player for Florence and The Machine. The pair wasn’t afraid to get intimate at Coachella this weekend, and Katy was all smiles. It’s basically impossible to be successful in Hollywood today without being a triple threat — or at the very least a double threat. Granted, there are plenty of tools to help you out with the whole music “threat” (auto-tune, lip-syncing, etc…), there are surprisingly a whole bunch of celebs who not only have their own bands, but are musically talented. While some of their side project bands led to record deals, some stars stick to their little indie band just as a way to escape from the industry for a bit. It’s kinda refreshing to see celebs with hobbies that don’t involve illegal drugs or flashing their vag at movie premieres.

There are a lot of perks to being a celebrity. Fame, fortune and all that good stuff are a given, and it’s the reason why so many people would do just about anything to make it big themselves. But as a society I think we often get so caught up in the perks of being famous that we forget about some of the cons; the cons that we as fans who want to know all about these people contribute to. There’s lack of privacy, gossip, and lots and lots of crazy people following your every move, which you probably think would be one of the perks. And I’m sure for a lot of celebrities that is one of the perks. But some fans, well, they can get a little bit crazy, and that’s when things can get just a little bit scary, especially for these celebrities right here.

So you know how celebs are always telling us that they’re just like you and me, that underneath their cool clothes and their fancy cars and their mansions, they’re just normal people? Well, it turns out they weren’t lying. It turns out they have unachievable dreams too. While we spend our time wishing we could be more like them, certain celebs are wishing and waiting for the day they’ll get to play their idols. Some of them have a thing for comic book heroes. Others prefer remakes or Tim Burton movies.  And some well, some are just weird.

Okay, so I don’t know if you ladies have heard the news, but apparently Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson are actually dating, which really just makes my skin crawl. I mean the girl is legitimately half his age. It’s weird and it’s creepy. And since I am forever grateful that Scarlett let go of Ryan Reynolds so we could some day find each other and be together, I felt it my duty to at least point that out.

But in the process, their creepy crawly relationship got me thinking about all of the other creepy celebrity couples I’ve encountered over the years. And, well, there were actually quite a few of them. Ugh, my stomach is churning.

How many times a week a day do you Google yourself? An embarrassing amount, right? Almost as embarrassing as the amount of time I spend diagnosing myself with fatal diseases on WebMD. But when we’re not googling our own name and Facebook stalking our frenemies, we’re googling (and ogling) guys. Like, a lot. So we wanted to do a totally scientific study (please note that we did this research while also doing research on the effects of Four Loko on a professional work day) on the most googled guys on the internet. And we were SHOCKED by the results. Like apparently no one else is as into Barry Manilow as I am. But a lot of people are really into Ne-Yo. Who knew?! Now you do!
