The Harry Potter cast has been all booked up for the past, like, ten years or something, what with all the broom-flying and Voldemort-chasing they’ve been doing. Hermione (…I mean Emma Watson) even had to put college on hold for the series. But after next week, it’s all over. No more Harry Potter movies. Ever.
So where can we expect to see them next? Will they move on to bigger and better things (not possible), or will they drop off the face of the planet, leaving us to believe they really ARE wizards and had to hurry back to Hogsmeade after finishing with all of this Hollywood shiz? Here are our predictions on what to expect from the cast.

Tomorrow, November 19th, 2010, will be the day that changes everything. (Or tonight at midnight if you’re me…)
Okay, well maybe not everything. But it’s still a pretty important day. It’s the day of the Harry Potter premiere. It’s the day that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I hits theaters. It’s the day that I take the tickets I bought 3 months ago and head to the movies, anxious and eager to see exactly what they’ve done with scenes I’ve been envisioning on my own for years now. It’s the day my friends roll their eyes at the fact that I’m majorly geeking out over Harry Potter and get to listen to my constant commentary throughout the movie. (That’s not how it happened. Seriously? WHAT. DID . THEY. DO?) It’s the day we’ve all I’ve been waiting for.
But on the off-chance that not everyone is quite as obsessed with Harry Potter as I am, CollegeCandy has your back. I’m here to provide you with all the vital information you may have forgotten about the world of Harry Potter. I’m here to remind you where we left off and what lies ahead. So here’s what you need to know.
First off, Dumbledore is dead.
That’s right, dead. For real. There will be no magical resurrections come the start of the seventh movie. Dumbledore is dead. And Snape is the one who killed him. Snape. Who’s evil now. Or is he? Harry, Ron, and Hermione always suspected that their potions professor was better suited for the dark arts. But he was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and one of Dumbledore’s most trusted confidants. Dumbledore trusted him. He was sure Snape was on his side. But he killed him. But Dumbledore didn’t seem the least bit shocked when Snape raised his wand to him. Interesting, very interesting. Was Dumbledore not sharing all of his secrets? Most definitely.
But you’ll find out more about that once Deathly Hallows starts getting good. For now, let’s focus on what the dearly departed Dumbledore did share with Harry. And that would be his search for the horcruxes.

As an avid Harry Potter fan (god, I wish they had HP classes at my school!) I feel like I’ve grown up alongside Harry, Hermione and Ron, both the characters in the books and the actors who play them in the movies.
I started reading the books when I was 10 years old – the same age Harry Potter was at the start of the Philosopher’s Stone. Together, Harry, Hermione, Ron and I had our first kisses, went through our angsty tween years and battled the Dark Arts. Or, you know, just those first two things.
It’s been 9 years since the first installment of Harry Potter was released and just as I’ve grown up and blossomed (and finally exited my very long awkward stage), so has the HP cast. And I don’t know how they did it, but every. single. one of them. has turned out gorgeous. Yes, even Dudley.
So in honor of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (THIS FRIDAY!), let’s jump into the pensieve take a look back at the cast of Harry Potter then… and now. Read More »

Moviegoers are in for one hell of a blockbuster season this summer. With all the sequels, prequels, and long-anticipated epics slated for release, there will be no shortage of box office smashes. But even more important is that these movies are a good source of your daily recommended leading man! Here are some of this summer’s hunkiest blockbuster hunks:
Hugh Jackman, X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Role: Logan, a.k.a. Wolverine
Why He’s Hot: Not only does he wear a tight-fitting wife beater throughout the film, accentuating his muscular physique and tough Wolverine persona, but he gets nekkid, too! Read More »

[There are some women out there that we just can’t get out of our minds. No, we aren’t switching teams - yet - but we do have some serious crushes on some pretty fierce females. These ladies are all special in their own right and we aren’t ashamed to tell the world we love them.]
As a self-proclaimed Harry Potter nerd, I’m super excited for the next movie to be released in July. After watching all the trailers multiple times, (as well as recent TV viewing of the older movies), one of the actors has me crushing. While I was always drawn to Harry Potter in the books, in the movies it’s Hermione, played by the fabulous Emma Watson, that caught my eye.
Emma Watson was cast as Hermione at the ripe age of 9 and has really grown up (into one hot tamale) in the spotlight. Unlike her other under-20 peers, though, she’s grown up right. The worst things we’ve seen of her are some awkward fashion choices and picture of her drinking a beer; not her lady parts sticking out under a skirt, or her doing some illegal drugs in a bathroom.
So Emma is more than deserving of her position at #15 on the Forbes 20 Top Earning Young Superstars in 2007. The girl is worth $16 million!
Like our many other girl crushes, Emma has brains that could rival those of the character that made her famous. It’s reported that she’s going to take an acting hiatus after Harry Potter wraps and will either be going to Yale or Brown in the fall. Her backup plan is to be an artist, though with all that money in the bank and the rumors that she’s going to be the next face of Chanel, I’m not sure she needs a backup plan.
But back to why I love her. Read More »

• It’s PG-13 rating. We no longer have to feel like that creepy old guy at a kid’s movie.
• Sexual tension. Pretty much everywhere. And Harry finally puts the moves on that chick he’s been eyeing for 2 movies.
• Homoerotic tension. Harry is awfully happy to see Sirius whenever he appears…and the guy does have great hair and a perfectly manicured mustache…
• Ron Weasley. The older he gets, the more he seems to represent the great state of Maine, lumberjack clothing and all. LOVE it! Read More »
