Although some people think SNL is on the decline, it still catapults some of our favorite comedians into super stardom. Like, Bridesmaids star and writer Kristen Wiig. Wiig found her way into America’s heart playing the wacky and brilliant characters we’ve all come to love. Now, those characters are joining the ranks of Rachel Dratch’s Debbie Downer and Will Ferrell’s George W. Bush. This past Saturday Wiig danced her way to a good-bye in her touching final episode. Now, we can at least hope for a cameo here and there.

Even though she’s only just left, I’m looking forward to the reprisal of some of her best characters. Some of her memorable were recurring roles and others only graced our televisions once. Either way, here are some that I’ll never forget.

Guys, Lindsay Lohan is about to have a real comeback. Not just semi-decent SNL hosting, but a full-on comeback. How do I know? She finally dyed her hair red again! I’ve been saying forever now that LiLo needs to bring back her ginger locks. She looks so much better with red hair, and when she has her natural hair color it’s easier to remember her in the good old days of The Parent Trap and Mean Girls. Blonde was not a good look for her – it made her look pale and strung out. I’m so glad to see her returning to her roots (punny!). To celebrate LiLo’s new/old look, we’ve put together a gallery of her with fabulous red hair. Check it out.

Garnet is a student at Columbia University in New York City. She is “that person” who starts dancing at a party when everyone else is standing around, and if there were a Facebook stalking Olympics, she would be a gold medalist. She also loves cheesy 90s music, and almost died of happiness when Vanilla Ice retweeted her. Once. Follow her on Twitter.

That’s the million dollar question, huh? I feel like we’ve been waiting so long for Lindsay Lohan to make a real comeback and steal our hearts like she did back in the day. After several stints in jail and her court fiascos, all of us have been wishing that cute little ginger would turn her life around. But she keeps proving us wrong over and over, so I don’t blame the world for thinking she can’t do it. On the flip side, someone’s got to give her a little hope. Leave it to the folks at Saturday Night Live to give her a billionth chance, and she thinks she did a great job.

Well, props to Lindsay for taking a break from the morgue to attempt a comeback at acting. It takes a lot of guts to make fun of yourself and all of your scandals on public television. Sadly, it wasn’t quite the performance we were looking for. In between jokes about her drug use, brief time as a lesbian, car chases, and bad movies, you can catch Lindsay staring at the cue cards and being super awkward. I couldn’t help but cringe.

I really hope this doesn’t mark the end of the funny Lindsay we saw in Mean Girls, but I think it might be. I will admit that Lindsay looked healthy, so that was a relief. I truly want her to make a real comeback and become her old talented self, though maybe she should keep focusing on her wellbeing instead of jumping back into acting too soon. I think she has the potential to have a great career again, but I don’t think it’s quite that time yet. Maybe she should continue to lay low for a while and keep her life on the right track for now.

It was announced this week that Lindsay Lohan will be hosting SNL this weekend. Apparently, she has cleaned up her act and is ready to make a comeback at 25 years old. Hey, I commend Linds for trying to get her life together and make America remember why we all loved her years ago. Everyone knows she’ll never be as precious as she was in The Parent Trap days, but maybe we can at least get her back to Mean Girls status.

Lindsay appeared on The Today Show and claimed that she has made some mistakes and has learned from them. For Lindsay, Saturday Night Live seems like the perfect place to show everyone that she’s not the girl she used to be. Now, what can we expect from LiLo when is comes to her SNL comeback?

I, for one, hope that there is some sort of self-deprecation skit. I think it’s great when celebrities can laugh at themselves and poke fun at how silly they can be sometimes. If Lindsay can laugh at herself, I think she’ll be able to make everyone else laugh with her too instead of at her. She’s had so many mishaps and blunders that I think the amount of material that the SNL writers could come up with is endless.

I also hope for some laughter from the cast. I can’t help but think of when Lindsay hosted and they did the Disneyland/Debbie Downer skit. No one could hold it together and the breaking of characters made the skit ten times funnier. I think that if the old Linds shines through, she could really come back strong. People may start taking her seriously. I am really rooting for her and wish her well. I’m sure a lot of people want to see her flop and fail, but as a Mean Girls enthusiast and fan of the song “Over” by Ms. Lohan, I am hoping that she proves the haters wrong. Good luck, Linds!

Stick a fork in me, I’m done. Channing Tatum hosted Saturday Night Live last night. While SNL has had some pretty funny sketches lately, I thought last night’s episode was hilarious. Maybe I was distracted by Channing’s beautiful, chiseled jaw line and bulging biceps. Or maybe the show’s season is finally picking up speed. Channing’s former career as a stripper was spoofed, along with some politicians, an open-shirted Channing as Matthew McConaughey and Lana del Rey, who bombed her performance in January. Whether you think this episode is funny or not, you don’t want to miss out on the multiple instances of Channing’s hip thrusts and lip licking.

And I just think everyone needs to see Channing Tatum rip his shirt off…

Recently Ben & Jerry’s released an ice cream flavor called “Schweddy Balls”, based off a Saturday Night Live sketch. I thought it was hilarious. Parents thought it was awful. A parent group is protesting the flavor because they think it’s vulgar. Well guess what, parent group? If you are going to prevent your kid from eating ice cream because it has a vulgar name, then your kid is totally going to go wild when they go off to college.

So here are some ice cream flavors for wild college students.

1. Walk of Shame Surprise

This flavor would be packaged in a sparkly black carton, much like the dress you walked home in this morning. The ice cream would be made with stale beer and shame. Tons of shame.

2. Exam Cram

You spent this whole week partying when you should have been studying for your chem exam. Good thing Exam Cram is made with Red Bull, 5-Hour Energy and NoDoz pills.

3. Freshman 15

This is a mixture of Big Macs, leftover pizza, beer, Chinese takeout and Ramen noodles. Eat up, size up.

4. Plan-B Brittle

So you had a little too much fun last night and forgot to ask if he had a condom. So what? All you need is a spoonful of Plan-B Brittle in the morning. Each spoonful has one Plan-B pill, and it even tastes like peanut butter!

5. Procrastination Party

This flavor would be filled with reminders that you have a full DVR and a full newsfeed since you haven’t checked your Facebook since 10 minutes ago. Studying can wait.

6. Keg Stand

This flavor is a mixture of beer and water, and it’s only good if you eat it upside down.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww sh*t! Musical talent doesn’t always have to come in the form of amazing voices. Sometimes great and hilarious lyrics (and an outlet on one of the country’s most well known shows) is all you need. Hearing “I’m On A Boat” this weekend at the bars just reminded me how awesome The Lonely Island is. And because I simply can’t wait for their 2011 album, I’m giving you Incredibad.

About the Band:
The Lonely Island is more of a comedy troupe rather than a band, consisting of Andy Samburg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer. While most people know them from SNL, these three have been making people laugh for way longer – since junior high school.

If you’re having a bad day, put this album on. You can’t NOT smile while listening to it. These songs are great additions to any party playlist (if used sparingly). There’s nothing funnier than a group of 20 drunk girls belting out the words to Dick in a Box around 3 in the morning. These guys are comedic geniuses, and if I Just Had Sex is any indication of the awesomeness of their next album, consider me stoked.
