This week our usual Fashion Porn was placed on the back burner to make room for the fashion lover’s Christmas: Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

As fashion week wraps up, I already have a long shopping list of what I must find once Spring clothes hit the shelves.  While I’m aware that this is months away, the collections this year were so beautiful that I’m going to have to start saving up in order to stock my closet with the affordable versions of the designs I saw this week.

College brings a whole lot of new experiences, new lessons and new people. But it seems that no matter what school you go to, there are same characters on every campus. The overachiever, the frat house groupie and the Sensitive All-American.

The Sensitive All-American looks like he walked out of a photo shoot and landed on your campus. He is calm, cool and collected. He has a pristine reputation. Of course, rumors are dropped here and there, but they never stick. He is confident without being arrogant or cocky. He talks about his feelings. He has girls who are friends. Just friends. Just like we are always wondering what guys are thinking (which is usually sex, boobs, or sex), guys want to know what’s on our minds. What do we want? What do we like? What the hell do we mean when we curtly say “it’s fine” after they get us a push-up bra for our birthday?

Contrary to popular belief, they care what we think. Not only because they want to please us, but because they want to woo us, lure us…and get us into their beds.
