Okay, well, they’re the hottest for now, since we all know how quickly things can change. If I had to make this list a couple of years ago, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe (ohhh, RP, how I lust after you) would have been on for sure. And if I wrote this a few weeks ago, Drew Barrymore and the dude from the Apple commercials would definitely be in the top 5.

Let’s just hope none of these couples break up before the end of the day.

It seems as though every new season brings with it a slew of new embarrassing naked pictures or grainy sex tapes. Spring has sprung, quite literally, with the release of Sex and the City star Kristen Davis’ naughty pictures and The Hills’ Audrina Patridge’s naked photos and the probably fake dirty video of Lindsey Lohan . None of it is quite High School Musical scandalous… in fact, it’s all rather disappointing.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and you’re in love. Or maybe you’re just in “lurve” (love without the O…a precursor to the big 4 letter proclamation. I fall in lurve like twice a day).

I used to wear my iPod everywhere.

Walking to school, iPod. Sitting on the subway, iPod. Waiting for class to start, iPod. Grocery shopping, iPod. I never went anywhere without music.

There’s lots of reasons I chose music over realty, strange men telling me I should be their girlfriend at 8:30 AM certainly being one of them, but the easiest answer is that I didn’t really think there was much the world could offer me while I was alone. Walking by yourself can be a semi-lonely activity, especially if you’ve got a long way to go and don’t see many friendly faces on your way there.

So, I was plugged in. Walking quickly and keeping my face blank (looking too friendly in the city is sometimes an open invitation for crazy people to ask you to pet their plastic snake), I spent my days forging ahead and allowing The Police to soundtrack my life.
