• Let It Rock: Off Again, On Again

Let It Rock: Off Again, On Again

This has been a crazy week.

Jay-Z came back! Scarlett Johansson came out with an album with Pete Yorn. (Hey, it’s gotta be better than The Hoff’s singing, right?) Oh, and Mason Jennings came out with something new..though everything he does is new to me.

    Let It Rock: They’re Back!

None of the artists with new releases are new to me this week. I’ve loved them all in the past and now I’m coming back for more. Actually, they’re coming back to give me more and I’m taking it all with wide open arms. And I’m pretty psyched to hear some new stuff from some of my old favorites. • Let it Rock: Mix It All Together and Call it Suicide

Let it Rock: Mix It All Together and Call it Suicide

Remember when you were a kid and you mixed a bunch of different flavors of soda together and called it “suicide”? That’s kind of what this week’s new music releases are like. A mish-mash of randomness. I mean we have the lead singer of Bright Eyes, a former American Idol contestant, and an R&B girl sensation.

Let it Rock: The Bird, the Bee, and the Boss

Another week, another new pile of CDs to sift through. I don’t know what it is about 2009, b…
