In CC Beauty Live’s new segment, Quick & Dirty, I’ll be doing short reviews of good, cheap products. So if you have anything you want me to review, let me know!
As a college student, I’m always on the lookout for bargains. And as a beauty addict, it can be difficult coughing up $30 for products. So that’s why I get really excited when I find amazing products for even more amazing prices. I often scour drugstores for a hopeful product, and every once in a while I find a great one, like Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Masque ($3.95, Ulta).
This product is fantastic and you can’t beat the price! You get an 8 oz tube for under $5! Check out my Quick & Dirty review for the DL.

I would absolutely love to get a pedicure every week, but like most college students, I just can’t afford to do that. So I sacrifice my poor, little feet in order to have money for essentials like, I don’t know, food. In order to keep myself free of hunger pains, my feet have taken a turn for the worst. They are cracked and dry, and no matter how cute my nail color is, they still look bad.
Enter the world of Exuviance: it’s like a pedicure in cream form. I’ve been using this for just a week and my tootsies already look way better. Watch the vid for my review! Read More »

There are many beauty freaks out there like me and trust me, we don’t ever get sick of unwrapping new beauty supplies for the holidays! I love the sweet smell of lotions and perfumes, eyeliners and mascaras! Honestly, I’ll take beauty products over another gift card to Bloomies, any day. Let’s be honest, I’ll end up spending that on stuff at the MAC counter anyway.
Most of the beauty supply stores are doing huge doorbusters and giving away lots of free stuff, so you can snag plenty of swag to get your friends. We beauty freaks appreciate the little fragrance samplers and mini tubes of lipstick, so I’ve put together the perfect guide for your beauty obsessed friends! Read More »

I know, the name sounds delicious… but you can’t eat this sauce!
Golden Sparkle Sauce by Pop Beauty comes in what appears to be a puff paint squeeze tube, but it’s actually a powerful weapon in maintaining smudge-free eye makeup! The shimmery substance can be applied as a layer on your lid over shadow and liner to seal eye makeup for a twinkling waterproof finish, or it can be mixed with loose glitter or pigment to serve as a long-lasting adhesive for otherwise hard-to-apply loose powder.
The result? Budge-proof shadow and liner with a little dash of extra dazzle. Sparkling magic in a bottle!
Want your makeup to stick around from class to dinner to party time? Pick some Sparke Sauce up at Ulta.com.
Vintage/vintage-inspired fashion is a great way to add a fun flair to the every day. Why wear a simple cotton dress when you can easily bring a unique retro look into the mix? I’m all about playing with fashion, so this week’s Day-to-Night Styler is taking a trip down memory lane. I found a darling 50′s style dress that can smoothly transition from day to night and look totally bangin’ wherever you decide to wear it.
Start with a cute, 50′s-inspired halter dress. This particular style is from Forever 21, but I also found some super cute dresses in this cut (but with fun prints, like leopard) at H&M. The halter cut and the cinched waist do wonders to give a gal that hourglass figure.
