If Punxsutawney Phil was correct this year, we now only have 3 more weeks of winter, which means we can soon wash away those winter blues and bust out those spring styles. This year, Pantone’s top color will be turquoise, which is not only a fun, bright color that can be mixed with everything from neutrals to browns to other brights, but it looks great on nearly everyone.
And with Spring Break comin’ quick, now is the perfect time to nab some turquoise!
Here are some great choices under 20 buckaroos that’ll perfectly highlight spring’s most popular hue. Read More »

I have a love/hate relationship with Urban Outfitters. I fall madly in love with everything on the racks, but hate how much they charge for shirts, skirts and dresses that usually fall apart after a few go-rounds in the washing machine. But then I fall in love again when those trendy little Urban employees stock the sale racks with all that gorgeous goodness.
The Urban sale section might be one of the only ones I’m willing to elbow, shove and push my way through. They have some of the best deals around on some serious cuteness, much of it $19.99 or less! Here are some of my favorite pieces that are all under $20. The best part: you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your couch or tempt yourself with the rest of the overpriced items en route to the sale section. Read More »

I’m a total animal lover. Dogs, cats, monkeys, bunnies — they’re just so damn cute, I could squeeze ‘em.
Anyway, I recently noticed that jewlery designers are really embracing the animale love — seriously, it’s the call of the wild.
Monkeys, horses, birds, snakes, owls and cats are now wraping aroung wrists, hanging from necks and dominating finger-wear. Not gonna lie, I’m a fan and I’ve found some hot (not to mention adorable) pieces at decent prices.

Ah Spring. As much as I love wearing boots, I’ve always been one to give my toes a little room to breathe. Just a thought, you might want to preface these sandals with a pedicure. Especially if your feet haven’t seen the light of day for the past four months. Although red is classic, I’ve been a fan of teal recently. It’s vibrant, fresh, and completely unexpected. Try out coral too, it’s subtle but sweet.

I’m a true believer that a girl’s fashion sense goes as far as her choice in panties (ew, I hate that word, sorry). But seriously, I’m someone who likes to sport stylish under-pinnings (much better) because I never know where I’ll be when I have to take my clothes off. I mean, I want to look hot at all times.
Now, I’m not one of those “my underwear always has to match my bra” kind of girls. But I’m really into being kind of stylish, if you will, when it comes to my undergarments — bright colors, lacey or silky fabrics. Get the idea? You definitely won’t find me in a poorly thought out cotton thong and holey bra, that’s for damn sure.
So since it’s officially been Spring for a few weeks (although the weather really hasn’t been reflecting that at all) and I can always make an excuse to spend money on myself, I did a little shopping for some cute undies and bras. UrbanOutfitters.com always has such wonderful, lovely, little vintage-esques numbers and I was able snag some very cute and very affordable pieces.
P.S. I’m not into granny panties, but these are great to wear to bed.
