There are so many fabulous high/low designer collaborations this year, it’s getting hard to keep track! Here are the collections we’re coveting:
1. Jimmy Choo for H&M
This is probably the most anticipated designer collaboration of the season. Jimmy Choo has designed a line of shoes, clothing, accessories, and menswear. The line hits stores Nov. 14, but here’s a sneak peek from the lookbook.

Leighton Meester’s got a new jam.
Is Mariah preggers? In Touch thinks so.
5 friends every woman needs.
Robert Pattinson needs a snuggle buddy.
Everyone needs a little lace this winter.
Miley doesn’t Tweet or tip.

Ok, so Delia*s may not seem like the best place to find some threads once you’re out of high school, but if you look in the right places, it’s a wardrobe gold mine. They have some great basics, even better accessories, and a lot of their stuff is trendy on the cheap (especially if you check out their seasonal clearance/sale). There really is a lot to choose from, but here are some of my absolute faves, all for under $20! Read More »

The recession is bad news for anyone looking to get a job, save some money or sell a house. But it’s great news for fashionistas! Stores that were once dowdy and just screamed “crazy cat lady” are bringing in new designers to create chic lines at lower prices.
Take JC Penney. When was the last time you stopped in there (not counting those post-Starbucks bathroom emergencies)? I know: never. Because their clothes were cheap, outdated and just not cute. Well, that’s not the case anymore! JCP now sells several lines by popular designers (Charlotte Ronson, Nicole Miller, and Allen B. Schwartz, to name a few) and they not only have stuff that is totes cute, it’s totes affordable as well. I can’t wait to add some of these pieces to my closet… Read More »

We’ve teamed up with our friends at FashionPulseDaily to bring you the best of Forever 21. Without a doubt, it can certainly be a challenge to find a dress that is winter-weather worthy. Oftentimes, I just throw on a pair of thick tights under my favorite summer dresses, and off I go!
The ideal winter dress, this Madeira Knit Dress, $22.80, has a knit bodice and tweed skirt portion to it, that also has a bit of wool for some extra warmth. I’m not suggesting to ditch the tights, merely to pick-up a cute winter-specific item which will give you a style, and warmth boost.
Speidi lookin’ stupid doin’ karate…haha!
Having problems finding the right foundation? This should help…
Get Keri Russel’s look for less!
Best value schools for 2009!
He’s Just Not That Into You is anti-feminist? What do you think?
Chase Crawford and Leona Lewis…is it love?
What about LiLo and Sean Penn?? Ew.
Lookin’ for some chic winter style? Here you go…
Sarah Palin is still talking…why?
More research being done on Gardasil for older women.
For those of us attending school in the north, fashion is often abandoned in order to stay, well, warm. I whole-heartedly admit to dragging myself to class in my warmest sweatpants, topped off with my very unfashionable, but EXTREMELY cold-resistant ski jacket.
Heck, here in Canada, it’s not odd to see students sporting Sorel boots (yeah, the boots mountain people wear).
And don’t even get me started on headwear. People at my school who aren’t dressed warmly enough opt for a homemade-turban look, using an extra sweater they have in their bag! Atrocious!
What is even more upsetting is that with a little research and planning (um, like checking the weather before leaving the house!), you can keep the blood circulating in your skull and still look cute!
CollegeCandy has done the leg work for you and presents you with a list of super chic, and more importantly, WARM, options for your noggin. Yes, it is possible to stay warm and keep the hair intact. Read More »

JC Penney may not be the same maven of style that is, say, Fifth Avenue, but they have recently rolled out with a few things that are definitely worth a second look. And a purchase. And some instant gratification from wearing it all right outta the store.
Their newest lines come from tons of fabulous, fashionable designers like, Nicole Miller and Ralph Lauren. They are trendy, good quality and easy on the wallet. I don’t know about you, but I’d take a $15 top over an $80 one any day. With prices like these, I can get triple the wardrobe!
Here are a few highlights from JCPenney’s newest collections. Click on the look to get the deets…and buy the item. Read More »
