Boys, boys, boys. Here at CollegeCandy, we love them. A lot. And being that we have a lot of time on our hands to search for them on the web, we thought we’d use it to our advantage and yours and bring you a little eye candy that not only makes us drool but also tugs at our heartstrings. So here’s your chance to meet some of the most talented guys in the world…who rock. Like, for real. (They’re musicians, people.)
Name: Sam DeArmond
Location: Lambertville, MI
Type of Music: Acoustic/Pop/Rock
Why He Rocks: With the combination of those eyes and a voice that makes us swoon, how does he not rock.
How long have you been singing?
About 8 years…the same time I started playing guitar.
What are your favorite kinds of songs to sing?
Any song I can relate to and feel. Genre-wise though, I’d have to say pop/rock type stuff.
What inspires the lyrics for the music you write?
My relationship with everyone and everything in this world. I also write about relationships that I see from my perspective.
What goals do you have for the future?
I’d love to be touring on a big stage one day and have my records in stores. Music is my passion and I will continue to pursue it ‘cause it’s what I love to do and it’s the only consistent thing in my life that can make me happy.
Where’s your favorite spot to sit down with your guitar and sing?
The beach, but since I don’t live by one by one my bedroom is the spot.
Now some questions with the ladies of CollegeCandy in mind…
What are you most attracted to in a girl?
Where would you take a girl on a first date?
A concert or a movie.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
When people scrape their teeth on their fork while eating.
What’s your most embarrassing moment?
I got done playing at an outside hookah bar once and it was so hot I sweat through my khaki shorts and it looked like I pissed myself. I probably should’ve worn underwear.
What’s your favorite food?
My grandma’s beef and noodles with mashed potatoes. I also love me a good burger.
What’s something you can’t help but indulge in?
Watching movies from the ’90s that I used to watch as a kid? I can’t think of anything else at the moment.
