In Our Makeup Bag: Lise Watier Portfolio Professional Correctors

What It Is:
Lise Watier Portfolio Professional Correctors

Why This Should Be in Your Bag:
Concealer is my #2 makeup product behind mascara. If I have zero time to apply my makeup, I still manage to throw on those two babies because they really do make you look SO much better.
Lise Watier is a brand that pumps out great quality cosmetics, but is sometimes overlooked. The quality of products and price hover in the area of department store brands, so I wanted to share this little gem with you!
How To Use It:
There are 5 shades of concealer in this handy little palette: the Green to counteract redness, the Lilac to brighten the complexion, the Brown to sculpt and define, the Yellow Beige to hide blue veins and dark circles and the Ivory to soften and hide dark circles. The concealer itself is creamy and rather thick, so you may want to warm it up on the back of your hand before applying with a concealer brush!

(L-R: Ivory, Green, Yellow Beige, Lilac, Brown)

CC Rating: A

The Lise Watier Portfolio Professional Correctors are truly magnificent. Creamy, blend-able and, most importantly, they actually conceal imperfections! I’ve found all 5 concealers on this palette to be useful on my pale skin, which is surprising. Usually, in palettes, one or two shades just don’t work on my skin tone or I simply won’t use them, slightly decreasing the value.
My only complaint is the packaging. The plastic is a bit flimsy and sometimes the lid is hard to close because of it. For $30, I wanted something slightly more heavy duty.
However, if you’re not planning on being extraordinarily rough on this palette, you should only be concerned with the top-notch product found inside. The concealers are wonderful! And if you’re worried that the shades will  be too light for you, fear not; Lise Watier has released additional palettes for those with darker skin tones.
