I don’t care if it’s still November. Thanksgiving is over and I’m ready for Christmas. Bring on the endless Christmas carols, spiked cider, presents and outrageous family gatherings. I understand that people are super adamant about giving Thanksgiving “the time it deserves,” but the stuffing has been eaten and pumpkins are officially rotting.
I thrive on holiday parties; I’m all about dressing up, small talk with people I haven’t seen in 10 years and yummy holiday goodies (mmm…candy canes). But coming up with outfits for all these gatherings (it seems like they are endless) gets a bit tough. I don’t have that many cute dresses…and begin to lack creativity by the end of the holiday party season.
Once again, these family festivities are the perfect situation for RTR. No repeating dresses this year…
I’m really loving this Haute Hippie frock. And what better color for a holiday party then red?
I’d style the dress with a bold red lip and this silver Kenneth Jay Lane bracelet to add a little spunk to the ensemble.
