15 Straight Celebrities Who Support Gay Rights

One of the biggest civil rights issues in modern-day America is the lack of equal rights for our gay citizens. It is unjust that these Americans, who are our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, etc. are not free to love and marry whomever they choose. Only a few states in the country have legalized gay marriage, and that is a shame. By not giving equal rights to all of our citizens, we are essentially telling them that they do not matter and that they should stay in the closet. That’s not the America I believe in.

Today is National Coming Out Day, and we would like to take the opportunity to show support for the LGBT community. Here’s a collection of celebrities who prove you don’t have to be gay to stand up for gay rights. Hopefully, their words can help inspire someone to join the cause in the fight for the rights of all US citizens.
