Bombing in Iraq Kills 21, Injures Over 100

We here at CC are sad to report of the bombings that occurred in Baghdad, Iraq. The bombs exploded in Baghdad on Sunday morning, police have said.

The blasts, which included six car bombs and three other separate roadside explosions, targeted outdoor markets in Shiite neighborhoods of Baghdad.

Since the peak of violence in Iraq (post 9-11), overall violence has dropped significantly in Iraq, although attacks such as this do not remain an uncommon occurrence. Many people living in the Shiite neighborhoods fear that these bombings are a sign that warfare may ravage the country again.

These bombings killed at least 21 people and wounding 125 others.
