I check my email pretty compulsively, and there’s nothing that makes me more annoyed than an inbox so cluttered with store emails, newsletters, Google Alerts, etc. it’s hard sometimes to find the messages that are actually important.
Swizzle is here to help.
Swizzle features a free service, known as the Swizzle Sweeper, that cleans out your inbox by allowing you to unsubscribe from unwanted emails in just a few easy steps, and also combines all the daily emails you actually want to look at into one concise, easy-to-read digest (called The Daily Swizzle).
So instead of clogging up your inbox with 20-something messages, you’ll just get one that you can quickly skim through while you’re waiting in line at Starbucks, on the elevator in your building, or walking to class or work.
First, enter your email address and give Swizzle access to your messages. It will then scan your inbox and pull out any commercial or mass mailings.
You can then go through the list and choose whether you want to unsubscribe from a certain email list (and choose whether you want to delete all messages from that company from your inbox), add them to your daily digest, or keep them untouched (so they’ll continue to just arrive in your inbox as they did before).
After going through the list of messages Swizzle found in my inbox (more than I’d like to admit), I actually decided there were quite a few that I could unsubscribe from since I never look at, and most of the rest of them I added to my daily digest. I love my uncluttered inbox, all thanks to Swizzle!
