What Does YOLO Mean to YOU-LO?

Tufts University isn’t a school for stupid people. It’s an established institution that has seen the likes of Rainn Wilson, Jessica Biel and Peter Gallagher (aka Sandy Cohen) sit in its classrooms and walk through its hallowed halls. Not that having a roster of famous ex-students is a factor in determining a school’s academic integrity, but YOU KNOW. Sandy Cohen wasn’t a dumb guy!

So anyway, as we told you earlier, prospective Tufts students are being asked to answer a series of essay questions to determine their enrollment eligibility. One of the questions you have the option to answer pertains to the phrase YOLO. Specifically, what YOLO means to you.

E) The ancient Romans started it when they coined the phrase “Carpe diem.” Jonathan Larson proclaimed “No day but today!” and most recently, Drake explained You Only Live Once (YOLO).  Have you ever seized the day? Lived like there was no tomorrow?  Or perhaps you plan to shout YOLO while jumping into something in the future. What does #YOLO mean to you?

Now that we’ve all made fun of the question, I really want to pose it to you, the CC readers. Real talk: What does YOLO mean to you?
