This Video Explains Why We’re All Weirdos, but We’ll Never Admit It

When I’m home alone, I do some really weird stuff. I dance around my room. I walk around in my underwear. I binge eat on kettle chips and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I cry while watching marriage proposals that people put on YouTube. There is just something so peaceful and therapeutic about being a weirdo when no one is around. I’ve always been a big supporter of making sure to let my freak flag fly, but sometimes, I prefer to do that in the privacy of my own home.

One thing that all humans have in common is our secretive weirdness. Now, my question is: what if we all just came out with our weirdness? We could all bond! We could solve the oil crisis! We could finally achieve world peace! Okay, so maybe I’m getting ahead of myself, but you guys get where I’m going with this. Being weird should be about fun and being comfortable and cool in your own skin. It’s about just being a goof! So why do we all get so ashamed about our weird habits?

I’m voting that we all just be okay with the fact that we lie to get out of social plans so that we watch Gossip Girl on Netflix. Let’s be okay with the fact that we use our iPhones as mirrors. And to be really honest, I have literally sat and tried to memorize raps in songs so that I could bust it out later to impress people. Yeah, I’m that person. I’m a weirdo! You’re probably a weirdo too! We are who we are, and let’s embrace it.

Check out this hilarious video Buzzfeed put together to show us all the weird things we do, but that we’d never ever admit to doing. Enjoy!
