Lindsay Lohan’s Best Quotes From The Oprah Interview

Lindsay Lohan’s interview with Oprah aired last night on Oprah’s Next Chapter.  Lilo has recently completed her sixth stint in rehab and after 90 days in rehab, Lilo is presumably clean and sober. The interview may not have been as salacious as viewers wanted but it did provide some insight into what Lindsay Lohan has been up to, what she’s been through and gives us a bit of hope that she is finally OK now. Lindsay discusses her alcohol and Adderall addictions, family drama and being a child star.

Here are a few things we learned about Miss Lohan.

Her Drug Of Choice

“Alcohol. That, in the past, was a gateway to other things for me… I tried cocaine with alcohol.”

How Many Times Has She Done Cocaine?

“I really haven’t done it more than 10 to 15 times. Of course, I said three or four. I was terrified of being judged… [But] I’ve done it 10 to 15 times. [Cocaine] allowed me to drink more.  think that’s why I did it when I did it. It was a party thing.”

Her Childhood

“A lot of stuff went on when I was young with my family and I grew up in a very chaotic home . . . Unfortunately, I waited too long to face it.”

On Her Parents

“I hate what a bad rap people give my parents, because they’re just parents, really, at the end of the day. I don’t blame anyone for my mistakes.”

She Wanted To Go To Jail

“I somewhere inside knew and kind of wanted to go to jail, just to find some peace and have no choice but to just sit and be.”

On Being The Poster Child For A Broken Child Star

“It’s not what I ever aspired to be and it’s not what I want for my life.”

On Finally Shutting Up

“I don’t think in the past I ever fully surrendered to the fact that I just needed to shut up and listen. In this case, I wasn’t fighting at all.”

Living A Public Life

“There’s something to be said about me going forward that if I’m going to put myself in a public situation, that’s open season for people to say whatever they’re going to say. … I can control not putting myself there.”

There you have it. Do you think Lindsay Lohan will be OK?
