Zoog Disney Was The Greatest TV Block Of All Time

Sorry TGIF, Zoog Disney was the most epic block of TV in television history. Zoog was first launched in 1998 as a marketing ploy to get kids to connect their TV experience to ┬áthe internet. (Oh, what a great success that was!) You’ll notice many times in the Zoog intro that computers and television are somehow connected by these magical Zoog creatures who have existed “since the birth of Christ” and live between our computers and TV sets. That sounds a lot creepier now that I am an adult but as a kid it just made sense.

The Zoog Disney block included Flash Forward, The Famous Jett Jackson (RIP Lee Thompson Young), The Jersey, So Weird, Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens at various points. Child that was some sweet ass television. The afternoon to evening block gave me something to look forward to each day and it also made me feel like a big kid because prior to Zoog they only aired little kid cartoons. Which was your favorite Zoog Disney show?
