Millennials Admit: ‘We Suck and We’re Sorry’ In Hilarious/Sad Video

Can Opener Studio did an awesome Millennial parody video called, “Millennials: We Suck and We’re Sorry.” The video pokes fun at how people, namely babyboomers and our parents, view Millennials as lazy, text thirsty and unemployed. However, the video isn’t just a joke, it genuine critique on the conditions previous generations created for us like you know, war, economic recession, environmental devastation and a horrid job market.

Adding in snarky tidbits of info like college tuition has increased 600% since when the baby boomers attended and that the average student loan debt is $30,000, the video is funny, punchy and sad but so so so true. They drop knowledge about how the ’90s was awesome because there was Full House and, oh yeah, manufacturing jobs that have all been outsourced to other countries or replaced by new technologies. They slyly mention that 90% of the jobs made available since the 2009 recession have been part-time, which is great because Millennials are sooooooo lazy.

Notable quotes include, “We’re super sorry about those two wars you guys started. Sorry so many of our friends died,” and “But we do text too much.”
