Watch HAIM Cover Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” And Hear Their ENTIRE Album

HAIM is a sister trio (Danielle, Alana and Este Haim) who play catchy as hell, funky, indie pop rock? I don’t know, it’s hard to categorize these three ladies because you can hear references to everything, yet they still feel fresh and new. HAIM have been climbing the ranks for a while now. Their debut album Days Are Gone has been highly anticipated and is getting great reviews.

Not to mention the fact, and they don’t screaming “Girl POWER!” from rooftops like The Spice Girls did but how many all-female rock bands are there in 2013? It’s jut nice to see a group of women collaborating together and doing it well.

From what I hear it sounds like the perfect album whether you’re coming of age or going through a quarter-life-crisis. NPR says of the lyrics, “The lyrics on Days Are Gone are all about the trial and error involved in realizing that dreams designed by others (parents, boyfriends, songwriters) may not fit your growing individual frame.”

That sounds about right. Check out HAIM performing a cover of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and listen to their entire album at NPR.

HAIM Gifs for funsies!
