This isn’t here to sugarcoat anything so much as to add a little sugar to something¬†rotten.¬†Being unemployed sucks. It’s terrifying if you’re looking for your first job or if you’ve just gotten laid off from your current position. There isn’t much to say other then, you’ve got to keep your head up, put the work in, and make finding a job your job. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some perks to being unemployed (hopefully not for very long). After you graduate college, typically, you aren’t going to have a lot of free time ever again. Most of your life will be spent working. There’s no summer vacation. No winter break or spring break. There’s no break. So you better commit to working a job you enjoy or at least one that doesn’t make you feel empty. But look, now that you’ve got some free time, here are 10 things you can do with it. Think of unemployment as a mini vacation from work life . . . for the sake of your sanity mostly. God knows, it is stressful.
