The Broke Girl’s Guide To Drinking On The Cheap

Wake up. Drank. Hit snooze. Drank. Wake up. Drank.  Shower.  Drank.  Coffee.  Drank. Being broke and having fun can feel mutually exclusive a lot of the time. Everyone works so hard just to make a few clams that go straight to bills and none left over to actually enjoy life. Interesting fact: enjoying life is what makes it worth living. There is no need for us to deprive ourselves and miss out on the years where we are most resilient. I can’t imagine being 43 years old and getting up, hungover, at 7:00 am to go to work.

What’s key to college drinking is affordability and efficiency. A beer might be $3 but if you have to drink 10 of them to get you buzzed it’s not very economical. Alcohol is expensive to buy from a liquor store and to drink at restaurants. Unfortunately, most social gatherings take place at places where you may end up dropping all your free cash  on cocktails in one night. Not cool. You have to buy food, girl! Thus we present The Broke Girl’s Guide To Drinking On The Cheap, a compilation of CC’s wisdom from our best years.

Drinking alcohol is a privilege reserved for us old 21+s. Please drink responsibly.
