Rebecca Black Picks Up Right Where She Left Off With Her New Single, “Saturday”

We we we so excited! YouTube sensation and Friday enthusiast, Rebecca Black, is back on the scene after two years with her new song, (I can’t believe I’m saying this) “Saturday.” Yup, that’s right. Rebecca is literally picking up right where she left off with her new single.

She even graced us with another YouTube music video (with a gratuitous amount of ‘Friday’ references) where she wakes up from a Friday night of partying, assuming it’s the Friday she was so pumped about two years ago, and now is in love with the day of Saturday. Now, if I was Friday, I would be so jealous that now Saturday was getting all the attention. That is just so shady of Rebecca, y’know?

Anyway, the video consists of Rebecca singing with some wonderful autotune, then a young white dude raps a little bit, and then a Miley Cyrus look-alike twerks at a house party. It’s all very uncomfortable to watch considering Rebecca Black was just in braces and wondering which seat to take, right?! How did the time fly?┬áMy only wish is that Rebecca now write a song about Sunday and have it be all about how she has to go to church.

Does this video make you yearn for the ‘Friday’ days? Or are you content with the new and mature, Rebecca Black? Watch the video below, and let us know in the comments!
