This Video Will Definitely Brighten Up Your Holiday

Christmastime can be an emotional roller coaster. We’re happy, but we’re sad. We’re wistful, but we’re totally ready to get it all over with. It’s rough! I cannot imagine how hard it would be if I was little Claire Koch’s parents, who are both deaf, and attending her holiday program at school. Claire, who is 5 years old, knew that her parents wished they could listen and be a part of the program, so instead of doing the assigned hand movements they had practiced all month, Claire signed all the words for her family.

She even made amazing facial expressions while she did it.

ASL (American Sign Language) was her first language, so she’s pretty awesome at signing as well. From ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” to “Jingle Bells” to “Dreidel,” this kid seriously proves that this new generation is going to be much cooler than ours.  It’s official, a five-year-old is better than all of us.

Check out her adorable act of kindness and love below!
