Bloomingdale's Fuses Fashion & Football with 48 Designer Helmets to Celebrate Super Bowl XLVIII

The Super Bowl is coming to New York next month, and it’s the perfect opportunity for fashion and football to collide. Along with the NFL and The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Bloomingdale’s collaborated with an A-list roster of designers to create 48 one-of-a-kind Super Bowl XLVIII helmets to be auctioned off to benefit the NFL Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those touched by the game of football.

“This is the first time the Super Bowl will be held in the New York region, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate by joining Bloomingdale’s and the NFL in merging fashion and sports with the creation of these unique helmets,” Steven Kolb, CFDA CEO, said. The helmets will be unveiled in Bloomingdale’s iconic 59th Street windows on January 15th at 5:00pm, the same time the helmets will be available to bid on until February 4th on the retailer’s #fashiontouchdown website. The minimum bid for each helmet will be $248, celebrating the 48th Super Bowl taking place across two states. Check out some of our favorites below!
