If you thought EL James created Christian Grey’s character solely out of her own crazy sexual fantasies, think again. As it turns out, The NY Daily News is reporting that inspiration came from none other than Alessandro Proto, a 39 year-old Italian real estate mogul, whom James had met prior to penning Fifty Shades of Grey.
According to the Daily News, “The duo met back in 2010 when James was touring Italy writing about international celebrities snapping up properties in the country.” And while Proto claims his sexual tastes are decidedly more old fashioned than those of Christian Grey, you have to wonder. After all, there are a few details he reveals that have me raising my eye brows.
