Two women, Irene and Alice, have been best friends for 94 years. I can hardly stand some of my friends for 94 seconds so we can say for sure that their friendship is something special. Steve Harvey had the two ladies on his show to discuss everything that is popular culture from Bizzles to Selfies, what ensued was fascinating, funny and insightful. My parents are 52 years old, the lived through segregation, integration, Reagan, Clinton, two Bushes and saw the first Black President of the U.S., Obama. Could you imagine that? Experiencing segregation and the first Black President all in one life time? Well, these two women are twice as old as my parents so they have seen a lot. Televisions may have seemed like a great technological feat when they were kids, now people can watch TV on portable phones. Oh, how the times have changed but I can’t wait to be this old and laughing at all the silly things the children of the future will be enduring. Everything changes but nothing ever does.
