The question of when to have sex often comes after the third or fourth date, if not sooner. Young people are bombarded with advice from every which way, giving them timelines and guidance in navigating their sexual lives. One of the more famous lines of advice given is from the Millionaire Matchmaker herself, Patti Stanger. She suggests to her clients that they abstain from sex until monogamy; this will earn them more respect. But is this the right advice?
