Compare Schools With "The Great College Influence-Off"

TIME has put together a pretty cool interactive tool called “The Great College Influence-Off” that allows you to pit two schools against each other to see which one is more influential. By using extensive data from Wikipedia, TIME can tell you how much more influential one university is over another. I put in the two schools I attended NYU and Sarah Lawrence College, the results weren’t shocking. NYU is 4.88 times more influential than SLC. NYU has notable alumni like Anne Hathaway and Ethan Hawke while SLC boasts Yoko Ono and Barbara Walters.
Some of the things TIME found were:

1.The University of Florida is 2.76 times more influential than Johns Hopkins. (It got a big assist from sports-star alumni like Tim Tebow and Aaron Hernandez.)
2. The University of Miami is 1.99 times more influential than Dartmouth College. (Notable alumni include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and singer Enrique Iglesias.)
3. UCLA is 1.20 times more influential than Princeton. (Credit prolific former students like Francis Ford Coppola and James Franco.)
4. Louisiana State University is 1.17 times more influential than Georgetown. (Thanks, Shaq!)
