I know, I know. The last thing you want to see or even think about is winter. Me too, girl. I’m over winter with a capital ‘O.’ From polar vortexes to the disgusting mounds of snow and slush that I had to battle to get out of the house, the weather gods can keep all that until later on this year. Yes, spring has sprung and we welcome bae with open arms. But being the recessionista that I am, I can’t ignore the clearance sections of my favorite stores that house the previous season’s leftovers. Now is probably the best time to snatch up winter goodies for the low. Just last week, I snagged this super cute cream-colored v-neck sweater at Gap for $2. TWO. BUCKS. Budgeting is essential when you’re a college student or a broke recent grad, no doubt. But if you can afford a great investment piece at an even greater price, go for it. You’ll be saving money in the long run…and there’ll be plenty leftover to stunt in the spring and summer.
