Barbie has those deranged Stepford Wife eyes. It’s because she is always pleasant. Those clear blue eyes. Those pink lips. Dolls are culturally supposed to represent the “perfect people” (don’t even get me started on how the perfect woman isn’t remotely anatomically correct) and perfection can be disturbing.
