Let’s be perfectly clear about one thing: Coachella is as much, if not more, about fashion than it is about music. I mean, am I the only person who has started using the word “Coachella” as an adjective? You know, you see a gauzy little tunic form Free People and go “oh that’s cute, it’s sooo Coachella.”
Coachella is a chance for us to embrace our inner boho-hipster-pixies, to wear a flower crown sans judgement and break out those frayed short shorts we wore back in junior high. It comes at a perfect time because, if you’re anything like me, when April hits you want to ditch your sweaters and boots for their exact opposites – the light, ethereal, barely-there numbers that best characterize festival style.
