The electronic dance music craze is in full. load. neon swing. Good thing? That’s up for debate. But there’s one thing I am absolutely positive about: EDM shows bring out some of the most appalling fashion I’ve ever seen. I mean, it looks like people take highlighters and draw all over themselves in lieu of donning actual clothing (Ugh, I hope I didn’t just give some young concert-goer inspiration to actually do this).
Look, I am all for getting dressed up in the spirit of whatever you’re doing. For example, if I’m watching a football game, maybe I’ll wear a letterman jacket, or if I’m going to an outdoor festival, I’ll bring the boho. But here’s where I draw the line: You will never catch me in ‘EDM attire.’ Okay, you’ll probably never catch me at an EDM show either because I am self-respecting 26-year-old woman, but that’s beside the point.
